lovely small museum where you can learn all about the wine making tradition in Cyprus. We got to taste the various locally produced wine and could purchase wines if we wanted to

They give you a brief history of the island and the available vineyards. If you are in Cyprus, you should try to visit the wine museum.

We visited the wine museum at the end of a long day tour - not, perhaps, the best time because we were all tired but the museum staff did their best to make it interesting. We also discovered Commandaria - the local digestif - how have we managed to miss that for the past four years?

A friend and I both like wine so when we visited this museum we decided to go for the most expensive tour, though it was still cheap. The guide who took us round had obviously learned a script in English but was unable to answer any questions. The wine tasting at the end was not enjoyable. The wines were poor... More

A nicely renovated old building that hosts a museum about the wine history in Cyprus. Great atmosphere especially during nights-try to find an event to go to as there are some organised by the museum owners (the museum creators are musicians). Quite out of the Limassol city centre but easily accessible from the high-way.

A relatively recent museum but has a great collection of wine making artefacts. I do not usually like to watch videos at these places but the video here is really very good. The girl running it was very knowledgeable and friendly. The wine-tasting is probably not worth it unless you really have not ever tasted the local stuff before. Prices... More

We visited here on our way back from Kourion - Maria was an excellent guide and definitely knew her wines. The tasting at the end was good.

A very friendly tour. Excellent audio visual presentation of wine production on Cyprus from Romans onwards. The actual exhibition is quite small, but the wine tasting at the end was a tasty finish. Came away a lot more knowledgeable about the history of wine production.
