We had a very pleasant and relaxing visit walking around the fort. It isn't extensive but there are some interesting artefacts to see. I did notice in a cabinet marked something like "15th/16th century swords and helmets" there is a bayonet from a French chassepot rifle from the 1870s. Good views from the upper parts of the fort and a... More

2.50 Euro to get in. Colourful plants. Not enough of the history of the building. Good views of the beach.

Small but interesting and well preserved, the Medieval Fort of Larnaca is worth visiting and it won’t take you more than 30 minutes to do it. It stands proudly at the end of Athens Avenue. It was the first fortification in the 12th century. Be sure to have your camera along for some stunning shots. Tel: +357 24 304 576... More

I went here in March 2014 with a group of another 19 girls (yeaaaa) and I only visited the fortress on the outside, but it's still beautiful. This summer I am going back to Cyprus and i plan to see it all :) the best view it's from Finikoudes Beach/Promenade, it's like the fortress is coming out of the sea... More

We thought there was an entrance fee for this fort, but there didn't seem to be one today. Maybe it was because some sort of exhibition was being set up. But even if there was, a couple of Euros would have been worth it. Larger and better kept fort than Pathos, it also has canons and some early 20th Century... More

It was okay. Cheap to get in bit there just isn't really anything inside. Just the same walls you saw on the outside, inside. You do get to walk on a small section of wall though which has very nice views of the coast.

Very interesting to see the old architecture. Leaflet given to you to explain what is in the fort. Reasonable entry fee.
