Although quite small in size, it includes plenty of medical furniture, instruments and photos of medical practice in ancient times. Visit gets much more interesting when you ask the museum's curator to show you demonstrations on how these instruments worked...especially the electroshock device!

We went with our two children aged 10 and 12. Despite not being sure whether this was a suitable museum for children, we had a great experience. The children were given oranges to inject with old syringes, we tried an electromagnetic device for the 1800's, we saw how the plague and cholera were treated in the middle ages, and so... More

“Excellent Museum”

A very interesting medical museum, which allows the visitor to touch and examine the exhibits. There are some strange medical instruments and the guide was able to show us their use. Also the framed photographs showing medical practice in old times were interesting and, some of them, macabre.
