Beautiful place, even in bad weather. Especially flamingos, which gives a pink color. Beautiful scenery.

The Larnaca Salt Lake is located a few km away from the Airport and is a place that is getting dry during the summer months, but it's getting (almost) full with water and with flamingoes during the winter months.

During my short visit to this lake I did not observe any flamingos but I could admire its beauty. There were many flamingos on the day we arrived and we saw them on our way from the airport. There is a nice trail next to the lake for a stroll around to visit the Hala Sultan Tekke.

although it is amazing to see the huge span of white crystals with a beautiful mosque jetting out into the lake, there is not a lot to do or see that you can't see from simply driving past it. However it would make a good picnic spot and there are plenty of tables in the picnic areas to do this

The Salt Lake is constantly changing. Late in the year it fills with water and then the flamingoes arrive and stay until March. They feed constantly and gradually change from white to pink. The mosque is one of the most beautiful places I have ever known - with the largest, well-fed cats! There is a good walk around the lake... More

I have visited Salt Lake many times and will still be visiting again. The best time to go though I find is when the flamingos are there or any time at sunset. Magnificent view and very peaceful

this was one of the highlights of our trip - beautiful views and makes great photographs - just outside of Larnaca, easy to reach by bus (425)

We passed the Larnaca Salt Lake during a bike tour and I must say that the lake looks great - any time of the day. We spotted a few flamingos (february), beter luck next time! The mosque close to the lake offers a nice touch to it.
