Fairly large Orthodox church that has a Byzantine style. Inside there is a reliquary that is said to contain the St.. Lazarus. The church sits in a square near the sea front with cafes/taverna's surrounding it and is very pleasant to visit it at night when it is lit up - impressive

Saint Lazarus church is an adorable full of history church in the center of the city. The relics of the saint are located there under the church where the tombs are also.

This time there wasn't a wedding so we could look around more clos. Tge saint's bones are in a silver casket. The tomb seems bare compared to previous visits where there were lanterns and candles. Don't forget the church shop outside. Wonderful souvenirs at very reasonable prices and you will be helping with the upkeep of the church.

The Church of St. Lazarus is located in the middle of town inviting all those who pass by to come in and light a candle, pray or just spent some quiet time in contemplation. The relics of St. Lazarus are located at the bottom of the church and it is a once in a lifetime experience. Many old Byzantine icons... More

Important church with the relics of St Lazarus. Short visit but impressive. Free of charge. One of the buildings that need to be seen in Cyprus.

This church has not much to see from outside. In inside there are old walls that can give one idea of many years that passed and people that those walls overlived
