We visited Ayios Lazarus on our last day. It is one of the most beautiful churches I have ever been and I feel blessed I had the change to get there.

For religious or historical experience, this is a must see. To come to the burial place of Lazuras, friend of Jesus that was raised from the dead, is surreal and humbling.

I used this location for my wedding photos (even though our wedding wasn't here) . Myself and parter had evening shots taken here after our 6pm wedding and Lazarus offered the perfect back drop. Go and visit this spectacular location which is a 10 minute walk from the beach front. Its simple a beautiful location. GO, GO, GO!!!

Beautiful old church with a wealth of history, a definite must do in Larnarca. More impressive if you happen to be staying at the Hotel Opera with a balcony, and sit at night and watch the world go buy. Couldn't stop looking at this beautiful church at night. Make sure you visit the museum, well worth it for a small... More

Ayios Lazaarus (St Lazarus) Church is in the middle of the old part of town, yet 2 minutes walk from beach. Its a great shame that many of the side streets are being allowed to fall into ruin. The Church its self, is very grand inside, if you visit while a wedding is in progress, its a bonus, the basement... More

Ayios Lazarus (Saint Lazarus) church is the best attraction in Larnaca. Is very beautiful, especially if you visit it in the night, and has a great history. If you visit the church on Saturday or Sunday is likely to see a wedding, because is very famous for weddings. You have to visit it!!!

The Lazarus Church is one of the few authentic things in Larnaca with it basically becoming another Ayia Napa! It is set on a quieter street probably 200m from the promenade and is perfect for a photo memory of the city. Looks much better at night!

One of the top attractions in Larnaca; situated in the old city, few minutes walk from Promenade. Very beautifully kept and preserved old church.
