Amazing inside for a small church, Very ornate decoration Lazarus crypt not much to see. Museum was always shut but it was the Christmas Holidays. Nice walk around the area and some nice shops and cafes nearby.

This is one of the most important attractions in Larnaca and is one of the most peaceful places in Larnaca although I imagine in full season there are quite a lot of tourists. Worth the visit inside and also near-by grounds, very nice atmosphere inside. Some nice stores and taverns near-by, also very close to the beach and promenade.

Probably the most significant historical landmark in Larnaca. To be seen from the outside at night, when the tasteful lights make it even more attractive.

I like this church very much! It's in the center of the city, minutes walk from the beach, St. Lazarus burial place and has stunning architecture with great detail on the outside stone walls and belfry! The wood carving on the iconostas (the place where the icons are placed) are fantastic also! A place of peace and prayer, history and... More

Lazarus's tomb, a great iconostase, fine architecture, a few minutes of silence in a busy beach city - what else would you wish?

A very old church, built out of stone, an architectural marvel, situated in the very heart of Larnaca, Cyprus.. Inside, all pieces of religious furniture are hand made wood carvings, painted with gold foil, The contrast between stone walls and warm icons and carvings is awesome. But the most saint, valuable and precious things you can pray on are the... More

I was in town so popped in. It was ok, nothing amazing plenty of gold plate and a number of interesting pictures. For a Catholic it's bound to mean more than just another church given the history. For me I was done in 20 minutes.
