Nice, silent place. Good for some reflection. You can seat and relax, think about life. Near the centre, beautiful.

Its a beautiful church that one could walk to easily, if staying near the promenade. We didn‘t find much crowd when we were there. So we were in and out in 30 minutes. A lot of history.

You can't miss the "Ayios Lazarus" old orthodox church at the center of Larnaca. Tradition says that the place of Lazarus' tomb was lost during the period of Arab rule beginning in 649. In 890, a tomb was found in Larnaca bearing the inscription "Lazarus the friend of Christ". Emperor Leo VI of Byzantium had Lazarus' remains transferred to Constantinople... More

Excellent clean city. Well worth the trip and walking within the city limits. The shops are numerous and the people very friendly

Ancient christianity. The stones have been there for centuries. Safe and accessible crypt. Nicely presented as an archaeological treasure, and a church of the people of Larnaca today.

I'ld recommend to visit this church, or at least pass by. It's one of Larnaca's beautiful and ancient sights.

This is a beautiful Orthodox Church with a biblical history dating to the time of Christ. The history of Lazarus coming to Larnaca to preach the teachings of Christ after being awakened from the dead is very moving to any Christian.

Beautiful building built in the 9th century over what was believed to be the tomb or Saint Lazarus. Apart from the obvious stuff there is a little covered grave yard out the back with the tombs of early American missionaries.

We visited the church of saint lazarus and were stunned by all the gold colors inside. Very different from churches at home.
