Situated in the shadow of the stunning Castle. This working harbour has boats of every size from small (very small) local fishing boats, to pleasure cruising boats, to three sail ships that dominate the harbour sky line. The views out to sea are very special A great selection of restaurants and cafe's Well worth a visit and an ideal place... More

Dirty and poorly maintained area. A real feeling of oppression compared to Christian Cyprus. Worth a visit but I am glad I'm staying in Limassol.

A lovely place for a bottle of cool white Turkish wine at sunset- but you'll pay 4x what you would pay from a shop. Do spend a little time walking in the streets above and behind the harbour and St. Andrea's church

This is a lovely place for a walk and a coffee. The boat trips looked very interesting, and although all the restaurants tried to entice you in, no-one was over-pushy, Some of the boats were interesting in themselves, and there are plenty of alleyways up from the harbour to explore. Watch out - lots of cobbles on the way down!... More

Nobody can visit Kyrenia (Girne) without visiting the Harbour! If driving, park just as you enter the Harbour on the right hand side (lots of coaches drop off & wait here too) - 2hrs is approx. 3TL - if you intend on having a lateish night, the car park kiosk usually closes around 10pm and staff leave the car park... Steeped in history, a great place to watch the world go by with food, coffee or an alcoholic drink from one of the numerous bars and cafes.

Lovely little harbour full of boats with plenty of bars and restaurants, just a shame you have to run the gauntlet of waiters badgering you to eat and drink.

This is the focal point for kyrenia and full of restaurants and bars. Staff entice you to eat and we picked a place in the sun. Has a nice atmosphere.

We love this harbour, it is small and quaint with some lovely bars to sit, have a drink and watch the boats. Of a nighttime it comes alive a little but not too much which is exactly how we like it.

Relaxing, cozy, fresh and welcoming. Best enjoyed with a special someone or friends. It's not very big but quite clean and feels safe. Great play-grounds for kids and lovely promenade.
