Kyrenia Barbour is cute and cozy, with many shops and restaurants to explore and sample. It's not such a big harbour as to be overwhelming, so it was enjoyable. I didn't find the vendors a hassle, but maybe I was there prior to prime tourist season and they were still warming up? I did find the back streets more interesting,... More

A truly lovely harbour area with restaurants all the way round. Cobbled areas leading into town. Got hassled abit by locals trying to draw you in

Very picturesque, but it did feel like walking the gauntlet everyone vying for your atteattention. Had an enjoyable meal and a cold beer but not really worth the two and a half hour drive from the South.

At last we have our own car here so made for the border. What a difference immediately. Not as long to get there as we thought once you cross the border. The harbour and Castle are a wonderful setting for lunch. Don't miss out on the small streets immediately behind the harbour. Good value food wise.

Classic harbour area. Loads of yachts moored along the front, lovely views out to sea and decent bars and restaurants everywhere. It is so amusing to be harangued by just about every proprietor, when walking along the way, as they try to lure you into their establishments. Just stroll along, pick out the one that appeals, and away you go.

Go to one of the restaurants on first floor and get a excellent overview of the harbour while looking at the venetian wall that shelters the harbour

An iconic part of North Cyprus - very picturesque day and night. A beautiful area to visit plenty of restaurant & bars BUT nothing like other destinations with regards to a crazy nightlife (No 18 - 30s vibe at all). A very quite spot in the day perfect for for anyone who wants to have a stroll, stop in one... More

This has to be one of the prettiest harbours in the Med. Worth taking a trip up and down the coast on one of the Gulets (smallish sail boats). Lined with cafes it is the centre of the N. Cyprus visit.

We have been visiting North Cyprus for 16years and it is very rare that we don't take a stroll along this harbour and have a drink or a meal. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and also some lovely little shops selling traditional gifts at very reasonable prices.
