Visited in summer 2014. Reviewed website in advance, which is necessary for a small establishment like this. Tours are typically offered as part of a city train tour. Our trip to Liechtenstein did not coincide with train so I asked if we could visit at a scheduled time. I was thrilled they were able to give us a private tasting.... More

Arrived and was excited as I am a big wine enthusiast. There is nothing valuable here from my standpoint. The staff had an event and did not even acknowledge us. No wine tasting was allowed. Wine is expensive and has a bad reputation I found out later. I did try a glass at a local restaurant and was disappointed. No... More

While they were very busy the day we visited (they were hosting a number of heads of state!), they still found time and room for us to come in and taste the wine. It is very reasonable price for wine tasting too, and the pours are quite generous. The Vaduz Pinot Noir is made from the grapes grown at the... More

Stopped in the Hofkellerei's parking lot as it had terrific views of the royals castle for taking photos. After reading the reviews post trip we should have stopped in for a taste or two!! Problem was I was driving and still had a long trek ahead to get to Innsbruck in time for dinner! No drinking and driving for me!!

We had a great time at Hofkellerie, the staff were excellent and had alot of knowledge. They were extremely helpful and the location is perfect start for a walk around Vaduz.

The winery is on the edge of town and not difficult to find. We visited in early March, and while there were no grapes to see, we had a lovely time having a wine tasting. For 5 CHF, we were offered three varieties of wine: Riesling (which is actually made from the Princes grapes grown in Austria), Federweiss, and Vaduzer... More

This is about 15 minute walk from the downtown/ museum area, but they have parking if you want to drive. We were here on December 23d and were the only ones in the shop. We got individual attention from someone who spoke perfect English (he lived in Atlanta for awhile). The tasting was 5 Swiss francs for 3 glasses and... More

It seems to be impossible for individual tourists to get trip to cellars. However, tasting was possible and they have also nice shop for local and some other wines there. Licehtenstein has rather small wine production and wines are rather expensive on international scale. Anyway, as we were by car, we had to buy some bottles - due their rarity.... More

We stopped here with our dog while on a quick overnight in Vaduz. We were offered some delicious wines to sample (dog was offered water), and we purchased a few bottles to enjoy at home. It is a lovely wine collection.

We were here as part of a tour and they did a tasting for us. The setting and glassware were very good and it was educational as I knew nothing about the local wines. The wines were pleasant but not world class. The ladies running it gave good presentations and happily answered any questions. We got up the hill on... More
