The place to be

Great place to get in touch with a different type of art. Thank you for making the effort of bringing modern art to the Duchy. When would it be a POP art expo? Thanks

I loved this museum for so many reasons. I approached it from the side of the old fortifications, and the modern glass architecture of MUDAM is striking against the 1000+ year old walls. It's a great size, not too tiring to walk around in a few hours and you're not bored by the end of it. The exhibitions were well... More

If you love modern art, have a visit here. The building itself is modern and the art collection will make you think and think and think !! The movie of the nuclear detonations is worth seeing . It has a very nice cafe too to have a good break after all those thinking !!! :)

well worth a visit - great modern light building set on the foundations of the old fortifications. Thought provoking and interesting installations and films, better than average modern art and well worth a few hours visit

This museum building is worth a visit as much as the work on show. Very interesting modern architecture in the centre of the old fort. Thought provoking work and a delightful cafe.

If not for its collection, for sure for the quality of the installments and exhibitions, as well as for the location and architecture of its seat. I believe this museum is really one of the best across Europe. The dimension of Luxembourg makes it always a good option to visit without too many people around. And, on average, the exhibitions... Featuring multiple exhibits over the year, and employing really friendly staff, this cheap museum is a very easy place to visit and fill your brain with culture. They also have a very nice cafe/restaurant, hosting corporate lunches during the week, with very nice wines! If you're visiting Luxembourg, defiantly worth spending an afternoon here.

It is a great building. However, the collection and exhibitions are not very exciting. The brunch in the museum's cafe is interesting but not very tasty and not very fresh.

The museum is a little perl. We saw a fountain springing with black ink, elegant trees of metal and a carpentry workshop in a blue room. The workshop made entirely of raw pieces of wood. Everything made in honor of the artists father. The sight will remain in my memory for a long time. Thank You for a lovely sunday... More

I was alone in Luxembourg city the last two days and the Mudam was the perfect place to visit. One has to have an open mind when viewing modern art. I found it refreshing to have young people at each room to ask any questions. Some of the displays I just shook my head at, but it got a reaction... More
