Beautiful building

Beautiful building and a nice square, with lots of souvenir shops and cafes next to the palace but we didn't feel like going inside

Stunning architecture and rich history. Beautiful well-maintained grounds and lovely gardens. A must see while in Luxembourg City!

We were looking forward to this guided tour to top off our visit to Luxembourg City but we were very disappointed. The tour - advertised to last one hour was only 40 minutes and the guide spoke poor English, even though the tour was advertised as English speaking. There were over thirty people on the tour and the guide would... More

This is nothing like the palaces in Europe. It is an ordinary building in the heart of the city center, surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Even though we were standing right in front of it, I couldn't believe this was the palace. I kept checking Google maps to make sure I hadn't made a mistake! It's really nothing worth seeing... More

We passed the Palace (not a Castle) on our free self guided tour. Difficult to get a nice photo from outside of the palace. Was there on a Saturday but there was no guard.

Nothing special. The tour offers a very limited access to only a small area of the palace complex. The tour guide actually presents the history of the grand dukes family-if that excites you then you will be satisfied.

In the center of luxembourg you can find the Grand Duc palace. Like the keen the flag is up when he is in.

You get to see a few decorated rooms in what is just a public building, the Duke and his family live in a castle 25km away. The guide just spouted the history of the royal family. He told us of the connections with other royal families around the world which is obviously important for Luxembourg, but as we have also... More

We chanced upon this at the Changing of the Guard which is not as lavish as London, or Stockholm but interesting nevertheless. It is close to the Tourist information centre
