The Palace is well worth visiting and the tourguide is interesting. The rooms that are shown are quite impressive but there could be more in the way of displays and exhibits about the Grand-Dukes. It would also benefit from a gift shop!

Yet another palace. Interesting story, but there are nicer palaces. At least you get to see where the royalty spends its time.

We took a German tour as the English one was full (warning: pre-book your tour!) and although we didn't understand much of the guided tour, we enjoyed looking at the beautiful interiors of the palace. They have been tastefully kept up to date with modern trends and standards. Definitely something to go and see if you're in Luxembourg during summer.

We did not go inside the Palace, but from the outside it is gorgeous, with lovely architectural details, and is right in the center of the city, not far from the statue of Guillaume II on his horse. I love the detail of the Luxembourg crest on the gates. I understand this is not the primary residence, and that the... More

I had some free time after a business meeting and colleagues had recommended that I do the tour of the palace as it only happens when the Duke and family are not in residence. Our guide was very knowledgeable and it was great to learn more about the history of Luxembourg. I definitely recommend the tour.

When I heard PALACE, I do expect something grand and massive. However the one in Luxembourg is not like that. It is relatively small but it has beautiful ornaments outside.

Whilst the Duke and the family are summering in Colmar-Berg you can get a sneak peek of the palace and it's well worth the tour. Very knowledgeable guide shares the family story, history of the building and of Luxembourg in a light hearted and interesting way. There are no pictures allowed and although a little disappointing means everyone is focused... More

Easy to find, a lovely blond sandstone building, no pomp and ceremony on display just a single guard on duty outside. Fun photo ops :)

You must buy tickets at the TI in the square behind Plac D'Armes. The tours go every hour/half hour in specific languages. It is beautifully ornate inside. Our guide was very knowledgable, and he was proud to be a Luxembourger. Enjoy some history and lovely decor. No pictures are allowed inside.
