Was doing a road trip through Europe in summer 2014 and our first stop was Luxembourg. As we had 2 days in the country, time was short. This tour was fantastic, really great commentary and it shows you the best parts of the city. I didn't know much about Luxembourg before visiting, but this bus tour tells you everything you... More

The Czech King John of Luxemburg was buried in the Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Luxemburg. That's why I photographed this church at least quickly out of the car. That Notre-Dame is the Roman-Catholic church, originally it was a Jesuit temple. It was founded in the 17th Century, built in the variety of architectural styles.

This city and the country in itself is a hidden gem of Europe. A country with very low population and carrying a history of Dukes and Castles, its a must must visit. Bordered by Belgium on one side, France on one and Germany on the other.

Full of charm and history which is felt as soon as you start to walk the old streets and the squares. As I entered the square, a grand piano remotely operated on wheels was cruising into position to get ready to play. And play it did - it was stunningly beautiful and appreciated by all in the square including those... More

Walking the small paths around the city - up and down - a magnificent new view around every corner. Seems like You wander in a dolls house. I love it now, as I did 36 years ago when I visited last time. New houses - Kirchberg interesting - old houses - the town has it all, small as it may... More

I've been on a quest for a few years now to get around the world in 26 letters. I was delighted last month to get to Luxembourg. The old city is charming! The city is clean and open and I was very surprised to be able to walk right up to the Duke's palace. We took a bus tour around... More

This was quite disappointing, you get these bus tours in most major cities now and theyre usually quite good, its just this one is a bit like a tour of an industrial estate, theres not much to see for the most part except lots of office blocks. as you zip up a dual carriageway, turn around and come back.

Amazing views around the city, walk through the valley and take in the views from above, best viewed during the summer months, also allow time to walk through the city shopping and restaurants.

This tour is boring and a waste of money. Luxembourg City is full of beautiful sights and views. But these cannot be taken in from the train due to its roof. Imagine standing in front of an old building, but not being able to see more than 30% of it. Also, the train does not stop at sights that would... More
