A very impressive collection of WWII artefacts of every description. Man, I would hate to catalogue these objects as there are thousands and thousands of them. Although the Museum is crammed full of every type of Allied and German war-related object imaginable, it still flows and makes sense. It feels like a very complete museum telling a mass of fantastic... More

Absolutely fantastic museum. Not only is there extensive military gear and equipment to see, but they also have Letters, photos, memories from soldiers who served during battle of bulge along with their interaction with the local population. I loved reading the stories and looking at the photos. Many heroic things done by soldiers and local population that has never been... More

Even if you're not fascinated by war and weapons, like myself, you'll be impressed by this museum. Because it tells the story of peoples, of men, women and children during ww2 in the Ardennes. The collection is HUGE and great care has been given to details. Some showcases seem alive! Moreover, they have fantastic audioguides: iPods! In french, english, german... More

I think that I visited most of the WW2 museums in Benelux and France, but this one in Diekirch is the best. A huge collection - most in immaculate condition - of military material used, and a very large display of military vehicles. Probably the most beautiful collection in the area. Certainly worth an extended visit the next time you... More

This museum is massive and full from floor to ceiling with artifacts. For those that want to look at things instead of following a story this museum will suffice. However, while all the information is given in French, German, and English it is often presented in a disjointed way. This museum reminded me of the old fashioned collection based museums... More

Plopped right in the middle of the Battle of the Bulge, the museum focus is right on and contains a definitive collection - the finest seen anywhere - and I collect military museum experiences. The numerous dioramas are notable and the explanations are first rate. What is really unusual is the respectful viewpoint projected from the Nazi side. Haven't seen... More

At the outside you really can't see that the museum is so large. They've got a very large exhibition that still grows(i have visited a few years ago also this museum) and they've got also many beautiful dioramas. There is also a part of the museum that tells the story of the Luxembourger soldiers that fought for the Germans, but... More

A very impressive WWII museum with every type of weapon, uniform and other military vehicles from the Allies and the Germans. This was the most complete museum of this type that we have visited and we have been to others in Belgium, France and England. A must for someone interested in WWII history.

Overall an excellent experience that portrays the battles in this area during WWII. It houses many, many, many- countless artifacts, vehicles, uniforms, etc., etc.. Not just American army pieces but Luxemburg military pieces, and German vehicles and artifacts. Does not look like much from the walkway past the tank to the front door but you will be shocked when you... More
