When you look at a map of Valletta, Manuel Island and the three cities it's a series of fingers sticking into the bay. The harbour cruise travels into each of these creeks and the guide explains what is going on in each area. The most impressive sight were the line of superyachts owned by various Russian billionaires! If you book... More

This tour lasted a couple of hours, and was very interesting. Informative. Lovely sights - glad we took this tour, as arranged by hotel rep. Picked up from our hotel - relaxing from start to finish. The only downside as far as I am concerned was the lack of seating, or perhaps WAY TOO MANY packed on the boat. I... More

This tour is well worth considering and can often be accessed free of charge. The whole experience lasts about an hour and a half and is a great way to see the city of Valletta from a different angle and to enjoy being close to all manner of ships, boats, ferries and sea planes (if you are lucky!). The boats... More

The weather wasn't too good so we decided to set off on the bus and see where we got to. However the bus was so crowded and it felt like we were on a roller coaster so we decided to get off at Sliema Ferries and do a boat tour. Can't remember the name of the company we went with... More

Well worth doing one of these tours to get an idea of the complexity of the harbours and the absolute vastness of the fortifications built by the Knights. Unfortunately, the ubiquitous cruise ships do not add to the experience!

We went with Supreme Cruises, a "freebie" having previously booked an open top bus tour with one of their travel agents, so expectations were not high. However, it was a gloriously sunny day, we sat on the bench at the front of the boat with unimpeded views, and thoroughly enjoyed the 90 minute trip. As we moved around the creeks,... More

We took the harbour cruise on a day where the crew said it was "a bit choppy"! When we were flat it was very beautiful with lots of interesting information given by the commentator. The seats on the boat were very comfortable and there were food/drink/toilet facilities. It cost 15 euros which we all agreed is very good value. It... More

We managed to get the trip for 10 euros instead of 15. It was about an hour and a halfs duration but was full of information and interest.

We went on the harbour cruise with Supreme Cruises. The guide on the boat was very good. But be aware if you buy a drink on board a very small tea costs €2 and a small beer is €2.5 .That is double the cost of buying on shore. They don't tell you the prices until they bring it to you but at least... very interesting and a good commentary about the history of the harbour. Also good too see it from a different perspective on the water and how big the grand harbour is which was amazing. And seeing how the other half live with their super yachts moored there. worth doing
