There are great views to be had across the Grand Harbour from here. It is also a very poignant site with commemorations to the dead of war and also in drowning incidents. Worth a visit

This place is a gem hidden behind the hustle and bustle of Republic Street. The views are gorgeous and the courtyard/garden area is peaceful and very well kept. A lovely spot to wind down or enjoy a book.

Beautiful gardens and a quiet relaxing atmosphere after having visited the centre of Valletta. You even get a decent cup of coffee there without paying extra for the view!

This venue, free of charge, gives a very well laid out stroll and affords wonderful views over Valleta. Helps gets the city in perspective and its walls are so thick it helps you realise how safe its occupants must have felt. There is a lift up from the Waterfront for which there is a small fee but it speeds up... More

Very interesting, well set out, beautifully kept gardens. Disgusting toilets. Staff very helpful at the Battery.

Well worth a visit, the views are spectacular. There are clean toilet facilities within the gardens and cafes. Nothing of note to dislike.

Great views, what's not to like? Certainly a not to be missed attraction when visiting Valletta especially as it's free.

This is one of the most wonderful places to visit in Valletta where one can admire the beauty of the grand harbour, and one can also admire the historical surrounding buildings. You can sit and have a coffee or a snack while enjoying the views.
