Good place to stop off, and some of the best coffee I've tasted! Very popular but never seems overcrowded. Good views all around the Valletta peninsula, so take camera. Also, a nice, clean, loo! (My ancestor's commemoration plaque is on one of the walls, so perhaps I'm biaised!).

The perfect mix between peace and harbour activity. The sea calms you down and you feel you are above everything looking at the busy harbours of Valletta.

The Gardens are perfectly placed for a wonderful view of The spectacular Grand Harbour. The view across the harbour to the Three Cities is wonderful. Walk round the corner and look over the bastions for views across Malta .

This was by far my wife's favorite destination stop during this vacation. It is such an incredibly beautiful and maniured garden. We spent a lot longer than I thought we could have just taking in the sights and smelling the air. There's also a lovely little place to get a bite to eat which was lovely when we need a... More

A really nice area to sit and chill out after a long walk around Valletta. Amazing views out to the harbour and you can also see the cannons, which apparently they fire at 12 and then again at 4pm which is supposed to be good to see but I managed to miss this!

This is a really beautiful place in Valletta with amazing views over the harbour. There are great facilities here too, lots of trees in the centre so you can sit down and enjoy the shade for a while, free toilets which are very clean, and a small cafe with ice cream and drinks. We were there on time to see... More

Hop on the new lift from the waterfront and set out directly into the gardens, he best view ever of the three cities, flowers very well kept, two minute walk into Valletta, not to be missed by any one visiting Valletta or indeed Malta

A lovely tranquil area there are quite a few benches and shade can be found. The view over to the three cities and the harbour is lovely.

We had previously visited Lower Barakka gardens and had a great time, these gardens underwhelmed us a little due to the large number of people and lack of peace and quiet.
