Upon arriving in Valletta, we headed for the Valletta Living History first. It provided a wonderful overview of the history of the town and the Knights' experiences and was very well done. It is a film shown in a regular movie theater; we had to wait for the theater to open. The complex was very deserted on a Sunday! Highly... More

I have taken a few groups to see this show. It is definitely the best introduction to Malta. I have seen in around 4 times and each time I like it more! It is action packed, and there is nothing like it available. It is a shame you cannot purchase the production, as I believe that to date there has... More

in the 45 minute film you get a great sense of the history of valletta. being in a small shopping centre with lifts and escalators the cinema was up some stairs so not disabled friendly.

Thank you for your positive feedback on our attraction. I would like to confirm that the Embassy Complex is accessible to all. The area from the box office to the theater also has a separate lift available aside from access via stairs. The theater also has a reserved area for wheelchair users in order to ensure access to all. The... More

We went to both this and the Malta Experience, and found this to be the more interesting of the two. The Malta experience included some prehistoric history which wasn't to be honest, the most interesting, and was mainly slides, where Valletta Living History included reenactments and overall presented it in a more interesting way, and I would say the history... We had free entrance with MaltaPass, otherwise it would have been a waste of money. An ordinary film about some basic Valetta history.

This is probably the best show of its type on the island i would say. It is better produced although the acting could have been a little better i'd say as it seemed rather wooden. They touched upon most of the historical goings on i would say although could have elaborated more on what benefits they got from all the... More

This is a hard one to review. Taken on its own merits, it's a fine show, but it's not necessary if you've already seen the Malta Experience. If you haven't and are debating which to choose, the points below may help. 1. Price: Valletta Living History (VLH) and the Malta Experience (ME) cost about the same, although ME currently offers...
