Gobsmacked is all that I can say about Valletta Harbour. You need more than one day to simply scratch the surface here, views, attractions abound. Simply magnificent !! Beware, very hilly and hot so if you don't walk well then take it easy. A horse and carriage trip is quite good but you will miss a lot. I would advise... More

If you are looking for a view while having a meal in Valletta this is the place to be. There are a number of restaurants to choose from and it is only a short walk from the center of the city.

I was a bit overwhelmed when I got off the bus in Valletta. So many people and so much going on I wasn't sure which direction to head so I just cut through the market and kept heading downhill. Twenty minutes later I came to the beautiful old fort by the seafront and spent the next hour slowly dandering along... More

lots of bars and restaurants situated by the entrance to the harbour. It can be a bit unclean in the water and if there are cruise ships in, the smell of diesel can be very overpowering. Good selection of eateries .. Try for yourself !

The view from the Harbour (boat tour) is superb. Valetta's history is romantic and one gets a real sense of it's centuries of conflict. A beautiful experience.

The history that goes with Malta's waterfront is amazing. The tourist boat trips that travel the coast give visitors and great view of the new and the old. I would highly recommend this aspect of Malta's beauty.

Really short walk from the gate entrance to get to upper Baraka gardens where the few is probably the best, so don't miss it, there is also a nice view from the other side of the city, but seems to be less popular, so it's more quiet :)

The Valletta Waterfront is a line of large restaurant with not-so-authentic Maltese food. It is for cruise ship guests and that is how it is structured: To deal with loads of tourists. Of course you can go there - but there are better places in Valletta.
