The Valletta Waterfront is located in the city of Floriana (Il-Furjana) and is known for its colored windows from the cafes and restaurants. Here you can enjoy a drink or only to walk along the Grand Harbour.

Lots going on down on the Waterfront with lots of bars and restaurants vying for your attention. Best gotten to by ferry from Sliema

There's quite a lot of fancy restaurants along this shiny new-looking promenade. Not too expensive either. Worth a look, especially if there is a huge cruise ship in. You won't spend all day here, and its pretty close to the bottom of that big scary metal stair case. Good views of the rest of the harbour also.

Nice to walk a waterfront but restaurants outside dining now, n tents between you and water. Plenty of choice. Many families out for Sunday lunch

Not really worth the effort to go here as there is difficult parking and a few restaurants. If a cruise ship is in port you do not even have a view.

Depending on how you enter Valleta this area might be overlooked or even forgotten but it gives an idea of how many if not most would have entered Valleta or arrived in Malta in the past. The usual warm yellow stone is very pleasing to the eye, and it conveys a great feeling of spaciousness.

There are plenty of restaurants, including Italian, Chinese and Mediterranean. The views across the harbour are beautiful, and there are a few shops for tourists and a bookshop. Lovely to walk along on a sunny day.

Great place to dine at night and to savour the views of a busy working harbour. Different cuisines available so everyone will be able to find something that suits for their open air meal.
