Ate in the Hard-Rock Cafe. Food was delicious but service was a little slow (for which the staff apologised profusely - understaffed!) Beautiful scenery and lighting at night, great atmosphere.

The Valletta waterfront is a must visit. It has many great restaurants and shops and most importantly a grand view of one of the Globe's most beautiful natural harbours!

We took a boat trip around the harbour at dusk as the sun was setting. All was lit up in a golden glow and we took some fabulous photos. Probably the best time to see the harbour and highly recommended.

Arriving in Valletta by cruiseship - what a wonderful approach this was - we were keen to see more by open top bus. At the quayside, thinking we were buying tickets for the 1 1/2 hour official Hop on Hop off bus tour, we got on the bus as instructed whereupon our tickets were exchanged for different ones, and the... We arrived at the cruise terminal and there is a tourist information office on the quayside which told us about things to do, we wanted to see the town and go on a boat trip but boats only go from Sliema which can be reached by the 12/13/21 buses from bus terminal. If you walk about 5 minutes to the... More

Originally constructed under the auspices of of the Grand Master Pinto as storage for The Knights of St John there are nineteen, beautifully restored warehouses. They were built during the Baroque period and stretch along the water's edge with a backdrop of the original fortifications and were restored in the 18th century. The iconic doors are coloured to match the... More

Easy to access from the Upper Barraka Gardens by lift, the choice of eating styles was impressive, Maltese, Italian, French, Chinese, Indian tastes were accounted for either inside or under canvas awnings harbourside. Our paella was served with reasonable speed and was delicious. I would recommend a visit to this hidden treasure.

This is one of the world's great waterfronts. It's both beautiful and intimidating. It has to be seen from the water, so a cruise on the harbour is essential here. The last cruise I took was around Manhattan last year. I enjoyed the cruise here and the sights just as much. Well done to the Maltese government and its private... More
