We arrived during the day to the sights of the maybe 10th century. Buildings and fortress around the bay. Then left at night with an even more exciting view of the waterfront lit.

Worth a day out on the local buses which are very frequent. Charming Valletta with street cafes and oozing with history whilst you can go holiday shopping as well.

There's now a lift down to the front docks and it's worth taking the small chugga boat across rather than wait for the bigger ferries. Much prettier and attractive. Don't be sent to the far end of the docks: there is a much more central landing stage near the lift

Great for a lunch or an evening dinner. Many eateries to choose from, and all located at the waterfront. Nice wide walkway to walk and view the harbor, where cruise ships often dock. Wonderful for a diversion for the kids, if needed.

Ate in the Hard-Rock Cafe. Food was delicious but service was a little slow (for which the staff apologised profusely - understaffed!) Beautiful scenery and lighting at night, great atmosphere.

The Valletta waterfront is a must visit. It has many great restaurants and shops and most importantly a grand view of one of the Globe's most beautiful natural harbours!
