There is a good selection of restaurants here with a nice view of the marina but the infestation of flies everywhere completely ruins the experience. Just disgusting.

Several cafes and bars to check out the local food. Good views and worth the walk from the centre of Valletta

Very nice place, full of history and monuments. A lot of shos and nice places to eat. Great views. If you stay till sunset you can admire all monuments in a great light. You can also watch a lot of yachts and ships.

So much history, and beautiful scenery. Great attractions along the way. Don't visit Valletta without walking the waterfront!

I have visited many sites on Malta that have been restored. This Waterfront is breathtaking - they have kept the character of the old warehouses while building an ultra modern quayside walk sprinkled with bars and restaurants. The result is brilliant. It seems to me this is just the kind of development to which people will flock and that tourists... More

Granted, it was Victory Day and we wandered down to the waterfront to watch the regatta; so is it like this every day? Probably not, but it was super cool. We roved into various of the cities' staging areas for the regatta, at least on the Valletta side of the harbor, but no one stopped us and it seemed like... More

So enjoyed Valleta, there is so much waterfront to explore, all the old buildings, all the colour and so friendly, well worth the effort to spend time here.

Valletta is a wonderful city and we spent many happy hours walking along the shore line. However, it would seem that very few other tourists like to do this as we barely saw anyone else. The Waterfront restaurant area is lovely but also very busy but if you walk in the other direction away for here and stay on the... More
