We sailed out of Valletta after a wonderful day sightseeing and shopping in the town. E ven the captain of the M.S. Rotterdam said that this port was extra special.

This trip really helped us understand the importance of the harbour to the history of Valletta and Malta. We were collected from our hotel and taken to the boat and then returned after the 1.5 hour trip, it was excellent value at €12 each. The captain gave an excellent commentary, pointing out the various buildings and the history, great anecdotes... More

We walked along here after leaving the Gardens via the lift to the waterfront. We were lucky to see a cruise ship leaving and then eating delicious pizza at Tal-Kaptan in a relaxing spot by the water.

As we had walked around Valleta's many interesting streets, we thought it would be a good idea to see the city from a different perspective; so one morning we chose a boat trip around the three harbours of which there are many trips on offer at the waterfront. So taking a bus to Sliema ( pick-up from around the corner... More

There is a good selection of restaurants here with a nice view of the marina but the infestation of flies everywhere completely ruins the experience. Just disgusting.

Several cafes and bars to check out the local food. Good views and worth the walk from the centre of Valletta

Very nice place, full of history and monuments. A lot of shos and nice places to eat. Great views. If you stay till sunset you can admire all monuments in a great light. You can also watch a lot of yachts and ships.

So much history, and beautiful scenery. Great attractions along the way. Don't visit Valletta without walking the waterfront!

I have visited many sites on Malta that have been restored. This Waterfront is breathtaking - they have kept the character of the old warehouses while building an ultra modern quayside walk sprinkled with bars and restaurants. The result is brilliant. It seems to me this is just the kind of development to which people will flock and that tourists... More
