The boat tour is a must if you want to see and admire the splendid walls of Valetta! And also other parts of the harbour. This was far the best tour on the island. Just wait for a sunny day!

If you are new to the Island go here first, you will get a great feel for the history of Malta, the staff are friendly and there is a great café there before you go in. The views before you go through are stunning of the Grand Harbour.

15 euros well spent. You go into a theatre for a film show on the history of Malta lasting around 20 minutes. A fascinating history it is too, with dwellings found that are much older than Stonehenge and the amazing different races that have occupied the island including the Normans, Romans, Arabs, Turks and Napoleon. The siege of World War... More

I have visited now on three separate occasions with family and friends and have had the privilege to be guided by the lovely Anna. She makes the history come alive with her enthusiasm and knowledge.

I was taken on a tour called Malta highlights which involved the Malta experience. recently. If your agent offers you this tour, run. I will also be reviewing attractions not on here as they occurred on the same day. First we went to the Limestone Historical center. It is exactly what it says. A museum. About limestone. Your experience includes... More

This show gives you a potted history of the Island right up to the present day. The commentary is by ear phones and is delivered in several languages. There is a spiral stair case down to the theatre which could be tricky for some but I think there is a lift

The best place for you to start your visit to Malta. Puts everything in perspective and provides and quick overview of the both the islands and history. The audio is will done and not overpowering. Afterwards, go and get a real coffee in the cafe before going off to explore the islands. Enjoy!

a very informative film about the history of Malta going right back to the beginning of life on Malta. The theatre is comfortable and the audio is done in many different languages. After the film we went of a tour of the Knights of Malta hospital, this was very interesting, the fist for both film and tour was €15 and... More

Show times are on the hour so plan ahead(starts about 5 past to accommodate the walk downstairs and along a passageway from the ticket office) There is a small café and toilets adjacent. Large comfortable auditorium Audio head set is in 20 languages and is a good introduction to Malta and it's history if you need it.
