We've been fortunate enough to visit many European cities and usually opt for the City Sightseeing tour above others as a trusted brand. Being a little short on time in Valletta and having to choose one, we opted for the South (or 'panoramic') tour, and after a good start were let down. Whilst the Gozo island bus tour - which... More

We booked the North and South tours for different days and loved the top deck views, although the headphones and commentary weren't working very often. Gave us a great opportunity to explore much of the island at a budget price of 15 euros each and the hop on and hop off are great

The whole point of a hop off hop on bus is that! Our first bus turned up late so we missed the connection. The next bus timetabled did not arrive. We waited an hour for the next bus which then left us so little time to see anything else. Started off at 10.30 and because of the above we only... More

It didn't start well, when the person promoting the tours at the bus station stop in Valletta gave us a leaflet describing completely different routes lasting 90 minutes, whereas the tours are 3 hours. A number of the headphone sockets on different buses didn't work and one bus was so noisy you couldn't hear the commentary anyway. There are 2... More

We did the North and South tours. Buses are creaky and bumpy - mind you malta's roads are appalling. Audio worked ok. We sat upstairs to get the best view - but can be hot. Wish there was more taken in of valetta. Personally I think South tour is better, but North if you want to see mosta. Bit chaotic... More

We usually enjoy using sightseeing buses, and find that they are an excellent way of getting to know a new port of call, without paying exorbitant prices for a cruise ship excursion. At Malta, there are two routes, north and south, and we chose to do the north tour initially as this one visits Mdina . There was a huge... More

The are two "Hop on hop off" tours on Malta and we selected City Sightseeing. It seemed that the other company was better run (I think it is called "Malta Tours" or something similar. Both pick you up at your hotel and take you to the start of the route (both have a north loop and a south loop). There... More

We paid 43 euros each for three days including Gozo. We had to make our own way to Cirkewwa to pick up the ferry then the bus picked us up from there. We also had to pick a shuttle bus from Sliema to take us to where the cruise ships docked to pick up the main buses. That shuttle arrived... More

I had such a great time on this tour! However, it seems like there are more 'Malta Sightseeing' buses that 'City Sightseeing Malta' buses. Still, this company is pretty good! A bus tour, especially of the south, is a must-do.
