The hop-on hop-off bit was really a tour round all of the big hotels on the island rather than of the main attractions and some of the drivers were very grumpy.

This is properly the best way to get around Malta, and see the sights. You can get off at an attraction then catch a later tour bus to your next destination, or just stay on and do a circular trip. We travelled from Bugibba to Valletta got off the bus for a look around, rejoined on to Mdina (The Silent... More

Took sightseeing tour on open top bus from Valletta - 2 tours available - North & South of island 20Euro. However, on a Wednesday, you can do both tours for 20Euro. These tour operators will normally collect & return you to your hotel at no extra cost.

We used city sightseeing twice. First time in gozo then in Malta on the north and south routes. The gozo trip was okay, each bus was supposed to arrive every 45mins,one did not and we're stuck for ages in one town. We also found the coach driver rude as he could not go to rmala Bay, we got on another... More

We planned to take the combination North & South bus tour on wednesday April 22nd. at 14:00 hrs from War Museum to no avail. There was no bus on sight. Then we walked all the way back to Phoenicia hotel bus stop to catch the 14:55 bus. Although we arrived early to both places no bus showed up again. We came... More

Before I start I would star this as minus 1. We booked for a south island tour at our hotel, on the north of the island, and was told that we would be taken to Valletta to commence the tour. We were picked up at 11am, had to change and wait 20minutes in Qawra. We asked their rep at Qawra... More

I took the combined North and South tours which run on a Wednesday. Interesting day out visiting several places throught Malta. Don't expect the buses to run according to the times on the timetable, but there are plenty running so if you miss one another will be along within about half an hour. Hop on hop off so no restrictions... More

We started slightly late in the day (11.45am) on 6 April, but were still sold a one-day ticket in Sliema and only subsequently found out that it left no time to actually hop-off more than once, and no more than for 1 hour or we'd miss the last bus! It would have been good if we had been informed this... More
