Apart from being overpriced, the city sightseeing brand was one I thought I could trust. Though, it seems that when compared to the public transport this tour is simply awful. Some of the drivers were unfriendly and on one occasion, the driver had his wife with him who stood next to him and blocked the only clean window in the... More

We used this service only yesterday and spent most of our time waiting for the bus, travelling on the bus & rushing through sites to catch the bus. The first scheduled bus for the day didn't even turn up. The drivers are not particularly friendly or helpful. The buses are dirty. One of the buses had logo stickers on the... More

Chose the City Sightseeing Tour Bus via Oasis Travel at Preluna Hotel, Sliema. The 10.55am shuttle bus to Valletta Terminus did not turn up at all. Had to wait for the 11.25am bus. The rep was sat outside the Preluna Hotel to confirm this. We did the North tour. Whilst shopping at the Craft Village, we saw the bus arrive... More

It's hard to avoid the sightseeing touts for the 2 competing companies offering hop on hop off. We chose the city sightseeing via oasis travel at Preluna Towers. Def not worth the money . I've read earlier reviews and they are fairly accurate. Really badly organised. Buses are late if they even turn up at all ! Even tho we... More

These tours do not do the City Sightseeing franchise nor the island of Malta any favours. Unprofessional and scruffy drivers and reps run to their own schedule and are a nuisance to people passing by. One rep sat in his car outside the Phoenicia Hotel with windows down and dance music blaring whilst his friend shouted to people passing by... More

we chose to go on a Sunday and boarded the somewhat grubby double-decker at the Waterfront, Valletta. We did the north tour in the morning. Mdina was fine and the information about the road train useful. However, I particularly wanted to see the craft village and the workshops. We stopped there but it was closed apart from a shop. No... Haggle with the touts at the Sliema waterfront. There are 2 competing companies there so willing to do deals to get your business. The points raised by previous reviewers are correct the seats are sunbleached and cracked, some of the panels didn't worked and there are shameless advertising/deals going on between the drivers and shops including a 10 minute stop... We purchased a ticket for the sightseeing hop on and off bus from the tour rep in our hotel - first mistake as we later found that discounted tickets could be purchased on the day. We were collected from outside our hotel before 8.30 in the morning in a mini bus and transported to Bugibba where we picked up the... More

Just about acceptable...did the south and north tour on two separate days. The first thing you have to do from Sliema is get a transfer trip across to Valetta. This took 40 minutes of our tour. The commentary is very basic and full of prompts to visit clear sponsors. The cleanliness of the bus was merely average whilst the staff... More
