North Tour (blue bus) with Malta Sightseeing

We waited for 45 minutes in Medina for a no show bus, with a group of Americans desperate to get back to their cruise shop because of late service. Finally when the bus arrived it was not the type of bus as advertised but an old 1960's double decker with an open roof, filthy dirty. There were so many people... More

We booked our transfers through travel Republic, it turned out to be a local garage, under supreme travel. On arrival couldn't find rep, then when we did told to wait over there, there for 45 mins before asked again, one man got really annoyed and forcely told her we needed to move, we were obviously waiting for another flight, eventually... On a recent trip to Malta we were told to meet with a rep called Maria which we did and proceeded to book 3 trips with her. On the first day which was a trip to Blue Lagoon we were told to meet @ 12.30, we were there promptly but 20 minutes later still waiting. Went back into hotel where... More

Immerse in the chaotic city centre of La Valletta, you can go by bus to see the Cathedral or to visit the blue grotto, enjoying beautiful different panorama, changing every short while due to the enchanting beauty of the so different places. You will love Malta, no chance to do differently! A place to visit for sure! I have always... More

I booked a "Malta Special" Full Day tour through a "standing salesman - that's the person who stand near a booth and try to sell you tickets/tours" (Michael) from a booth next to Sliema Ferry Terminal departure point on Sunday 30th August 2015 at 12.10pm. The Full Day Tour was for Monday, 31st August 2015. When I asked about the... More

We enjoyed these journeys, and its a stress free way to see lots of the countryside for a reasonable price. You can hop on and off, when and where you like, and they did almost always run to time.

We were able to catch a bus 100 yards from our hotel which took us to Sliema where we got on a blue bus. It is a hop on, hop off double decker bus. Great for sight seeing from top level and taking photos. Commentary provided with earphones in stacks of different languages. Good commentary - interesting and informative without... More

Had our sights set on the City Sightseeing tours bus that was leaving when we were literally poached by the sellers. We even went so far as to point at the red bus we were headed for and the seller (falsely) told us that she was selling tickets for that. She was in fact selling tickets for the Malta Sightseeing... Took the family on a sightseeing trip of the south of the island on an open top bus. You can get on or off at any of the stops and your ticket is valued all day. It's a bit on the dear side at €17 each (got a discount from€20 each as there was five of us) but if you... More

There is no "wow" factor to sliema. Its tiny as most of the villages are. The only nice thing is the view over the bay to Valetta. I much prefer the capitol Valletta over Sliema. Meals are highly priced and its unfortunate that if you don't speak Maltese you will get ripped off in most parts of malta.
