We visited this Vineyard a week after visiting a different winery in Italy. Massar wine tasting deserves a slot on your vacation to Malta/Gozo. The most interesting is the different way of making wine, the history of this vinyard, and definitely the different flavors of a very nice variety of wine.

If you would enjoy touring a wonderful vineyard and then tasting superb wines while seated in the shade at a table overlooking spectacular hills and valleys, this is the experience for you. Add in the savoury Gozitan treats accompanying the wine and also the remarkable young vintners who share not only their knowledge of making wine but also their knowledge... More

Booked this visit before we arrived in Gozo, the vineyard is actually located in Gharb and we met Marissa in the main square. Our group of four were welcomed and we sat in a shaded area beside the vines. Anthony started the wine tasting and we sampled four delicious varieties. I am not a huge fan of wine but the... More

Had a brilliant time last weekend with Anthony and Marisa. Had a little trouble with getting there thanks to one of the local bus drivers but Marisa was a great help and sorted it out. Wine and food were lovely, plenty of it, and Anthony's explanations of it all was both interesting and informative. Would happily go back and visit... More

Arranged this as a surprise for our friends who love wine. The email correspondence was excellent and so helpful Anthony met us as arranged in Gharb and we followed him to his vinyards. What an interesting few hours we spent in Anthony's company. His love of his land, vines and the whole process of making wines was so evident and his... More

My brother, who lives in Malta, brought me here as a birthday present. It was a fantastic evening. The host was very knowledgeable, not only about wine but about the area too. The wine was extremely nice (we bought as much as we could carry) and the setting was perfect. Thank you for a great evening and I've already recommended... More

This was our second visit to the winery. How Anthony had started the winery is fascinating story and we wish them every deserved success. Marisa and Anthony make you feel so welcome. The wines are excellent, especially the Garb, which was superb. We bought 9 bottles. I just wish we could source them in the UK. They also served homemade... More

Wether you are interested in wine or just gozo in general this experience is a fantastic visit. Anthony did a great job in making sense of the wine growing process. You must also ask to see the world war two shelter.
