The Blue Lagoon in Comino is definitely one of the highlights of any trip to Malta or Gozo. We visit the place by boat from Gozo and it is truly spectacular on a sunny day with the blue water and contrasting paler blue sea. The only drawback is that it gets incredibly busy and 'touristy' in season so if one... More

Blue Lagoon in Comino, Malta is a stunning place. The water is crystal clear, that we can even imagine that it is a real place. The trip to the island has to be done by boat. It is amazing. My advise is to go on May/June. In the summer it gets really crowded. Amazing paradise on earth.

My friend and I went here twice on our trip to Malta. The first time we took the noon ferry over (10 euros roundtrip). This place was PACKED. The beach is must tinier than it looks in photos and is mostly rocks (not a lot of sandy places). We saw other groups wading through the lagoon to the other side... More

So beautiful! Is an absolute must! And on the way via boats you see some lovely caves. The water is crystal clear and there are some public toilets (might want to take some tissues or toilet roll with you though). Few burger vans there too.

Amazing beach location, my kids and I loved playing on the golden sand and swimming in the crystal clear, bright blue and turquoise sea. Great for snorkelling. Speedboat trips are available from here to Gozo and to visit local caves. They are great fun. Highly recommend a visit if you are holidaying in Malta or Gozo.

Definitely worth a visit but be warned it does get very busy and there isn't much of a beach to speak of. The water is amazingly clear but there are a lot of jelly fish. There's not a huge amount of other sea life so don't go for the snorkelling. Take a stroll around the island or swim over to... More

It was lovely to go by the crazy boat and for such a price. Take a day for exploring the rocky island and jump out from some cave.

It was nice seeing the place. Really blue water clear, but full of jelly fish. It was worth to see, but don't feel bad if you didn't see it.

The water is indeed very clear and blue, the beach is very small though. No fish or plants in the water, just plants and rocks. If you have experienced snorkeling in Malaysia or Indonesia, you will be disappointed, if you only know the Baltic sea, you will be stunned.
