Would be amazing if they could control the masses. Maybe like they do on the Galapagos, where each boat has a certain time at the location. Even in mid October there must have been at least 500 people there. No where to sit, stand, swim...Blaring music. It was shocking. It was like a busy holiday resort with 100's of deck... More

Well worth the boat trip, amazing swimming in clear blue sea. Only reservation is how busy it would be in summer, maybe better to go out of season

I think this is a very nice place to visit, if properly informed. So, yes, it is a beautiful lagoon, clearest waters ever, but there is no much activity going on. I understand many people are somewhat dissapointed, but keep in mind that: -Comino is the smallest of the Maltese Islands and it's mostly rocky, so not much to do... More

Myself and my husband booked a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon...we thought we had booked a power Balt ride around the area and then then back to Malta...no, we were dumped at the Blue Lagoon by the skipper who told us at 12.30 he would be back at 4 pm to pick us up. We looked at what was... More

This place would be fabulous if it was only me there!! As it is, there was possibly 2000 people crammed into it....there must be at least 40-50 separate boats running trips to it, all of them disgorging passengers... Ignore the promo pictures, imagine it where you can only see people rather than the beach or rocks. I've talked to 2... More

Nice and clear water but not really any beach, a lot of rocks so ended up swimming near the boat that took us there instead.

We took a 4 hour cruise to comino and the blue lagoon with shaming cruises. It stopped at the blue lagoon for nearly 2 hours so that you can go swimming in the crystal clear waters. The boat also takes you round the island and into the caves. Definitely worth a trip. €15 each well spent.

To enjoy the blue Lagoon trip I strongly recommend to anyone to go there as early as possible before the crowed arrives, the beach is quite tiny. Before you lie on the beach I suggest to walk around to discover some small bays and walk to St. Mary's Tower which was featured in the film The Count of Monte Cristo.... More

While this area can get quite crowded, if you can get away, there is great swimming. Recommend adding this to a sailing tour of Malta.
