The excursions rep at our hotel suggested this trip and we thought it sounded lovely, a boat trip where we could swim in the beautiful blue water. However, he failed to mention that there is no jetty and suitable steps where the boat docks and you have to proceed on foot over rugged rocks. My husband has very limited mobility... More

During my Maltese cruised, a highlight was a visit to the Comino Blue Lagoon. These rocky outcrops sit around the island of Comino between Malta and Gozo. The water is stunningly blue, aqua green and amazingly clear. a jet boat (price extra) takes you on a 25 min whizz around the lagoon and close up to the caves. The snorkelling... More

Get one of the first boats of the day from Cirkewwa for 10 euros (we caught the 9am) and get there when it's relatively quiet. Grab yourself a nice spot and get in the water and enjoy some lovely snorkelling in the crystal clear waters. Then by lunch time - get the hell out of there! Once the main rush... More

We went on the day trip to the Blue Lagoon. We took the ferry . Great clear water to swim in both young and old. The actual area around are not ideal to spend a day with young children . It is much rock and stone , no sandy beach . Recommend this place for those who have children who... More

Although the place was crowded and the bench rentals were expensive, 10 euros per chair, this place is beautiful. It's very surreal and breathtaking. A must go to place and worth being there to get a tan. Careful with jellyfish. We saw one and it had stung someone.

visited the Blue Lagoon as a one day trip and, from pictures show was led to believe we would be able to sunbathe and swim in the sea. When the boat moored, to get to the very small beach ( which was basically rocks) it involved a very steep and treacherous climb up rocks and then a walk and then... More

First tip is don't take a boat from down the coast.. They take ages, and start far too late. You'll get there when it is definitely rammed, and paid €25+ for the privilege. Second tip, take a bus up to Paradise Bay Area, get the shuttle boat over for €10 return. (It's the getting home that's a bit more of... More
