We were there in November, and I think thats the perfect time to go! Water still good-23 degrees, not too many people, so we can do and lay anywhere you wanted! It was a good decision to go there! :))

Everyone say that Blue Lagoon is a one of the "must see" in Malta but is it really? Of course it's not expensive to get there (5 EUR return ticket) but the beach itself is just tiny! We managed just to get into water and take some pictures, there were so many people you literally couldn't move. The rest of... More

The Blue Lagoon is a beautiful blue lagoon straight from the holiday brochures. However, it is crawling with boat loads of day trippers, blaring loud music and screaching n'hollerin, attended to by burger/ice cream vans, hell on earth. However, if you visit before 10am or after 5pm the place is yours. We walked the 10 minute from the hotel and... More

Blue lagoon is such a beautiful area. The deck chair man needs to learn manners- what a rude nasty little man he is. Screaming to pay him 5 euros and refusing due to the fact he was just so aggressive and rude. This place needs to be run by a trust as apposed to "street sellers" build a proper cafe... More

Am so pleased we visited The Blue Lagoon on the island of Comino. I can imagine that it can get get extremely busy in peak season, but well worth it. The water is crystal clear and although a little cold, you can swim over to more secluded areas of the island. Toilets need a lot to be desired and I... More

Visited the lagoon in October. We arrived by speed boat at 10.30 am, from our hotel which was amazing. We were able to get a deck chair which I have to say was uncomfortable. (As you are sitting on a slope). We were there for 2 hours. Which is just about the right amount of time. If you go I... More

Blue lagoon is crowded place. But water color is amazing. I advise you to take a walk around Comino to look at beautiful cliffs, St Mary's Tower maybe you can even find a private beach.

We took a speed boat trip which visited the caves at Comino Island, dropped us off for a morning in Gozo and then an hour at the Blue Lagoon. The boat ride was thrilling and I am so glad we chose this over a car or coach trip across to Gozo. The boat dropped off other tourists at the Blue... More
