Myself and my husband booked a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon...we thought we had booked a power Balt ride around the area and then then back to Malta...no, we were dumped at the Blue Lagoon by the skipper who told us at 12.30 he would be back at 4 pm to pick us up. We looked at what was... More

This place would be fabulous if it was only me there!! As it is, there was possibly 2000 people crammed into it....there must be at least 40-50 separate boats running trips to it, all of them disgorging passengers... Ignore the promo pictures, imagine it where you can only see people rather than the beach or rocks. I've talked to 2... More

Nice and clear water but not really any beach, a lot of rocks so ended up swimming near the boat that took us there instead.

We took a 4 hour cruise to comino and the blue lagoon with shaming cruises. It stopped at the blue lagoon for nearly 2 hours so that you can go swimming in the crystal clear waters. The boat also takes you round the island and into the caves. Definitely worth a trip. €15 each well spent.

To enjoy the blue Lagoon trip I strongly recommend to anyone to go there as early as possible before the crowed arrives, the beach is quite tiny. Before you lie on the beach I suggest to walk around to discover some small bays and walk to St. Mary's Tower which was featured in the film The Count of Monte Cristo.... More

While this area can get quite crowded, if you can get away, there is great swimming. Recommend adding this to a sailing tour of Malta.

I absolutely love this place. With the exception of the beach (rocks) area at the blue lagoon, Comino is a quiet island. Walk for five minutes away from the sea and it's fairly quiet and free of too many tourists. I've walked to the Red Tower and it's well worth the walk for the views back towards Malta. The Blue... We spent a few hours here, it was one of the main attractions on our list, my husband wanted to go around the island and see the tower also, and I wanted a break from all the walking so we decided to dedicate an entire day to Comino. We took the bus to Cirkewa and after that a ferry that... More

My wife and I really enjoyed the boat trip to the lagoon, it was windy and made the sea quite lively! Not everyone's cup of tea but we enjoyed it. The lagoon itself is quite pretty but ridiculously overcrowded. If your unsteady on your feet don't bother, quite rocky terrain to walk over. We walked to the other side of... More

The lagoon itself is gorgeous but there are way too many people for the size of the place. The beach is rocky and it's hard to even find a spot there due to the huge number of people everywhere. To avoid the crowds, go either very early or very late but be prepared to leave by 6pm when the last... More
