Went in a cruise with the family. Cruise was great and stopped off at superb Crystal bay first for a swim but Blue Lagoon was a bit disappointing. Too crowded so felt spoilt. Malta has sold the family silver here I feel!

So much crowd at the lagoon but the water and views are awesome. It is easy to get there from Cirkewwa.

Arriving at the Blue Lagoon at around 1 pm on a nice day in the middle of July was simply the wrong thing to do. The tiny beach was absolutely packed and how people could enjoy that environment was simply beyond me. To be fair the sea looked superb, the problem was that we couldn't get near! There are other... It's really lovely to swim in, the water is so blue and clear. I would recommend going off season. It's crazy busy during peak season, people are trying to rip you off right, left and centre. Bring a snorkeling kit with you!!

I went last month. It is nice, but small and too crowded. The beachchair was expensive... It is ok for once, but we that live in Malta won't come back again.

Went here as part of a boat trip lovely spot but packed. Still worth a visit we only had an hour here, some stopped for 4 hours would not have fancied that, we carried on to gozo had a great day. You can get food and drink here at reasonable prices from takeaway stands.

Water was nice and the caves on both shores cool, but the place was waaay to crowded. There are also not really any beach to speek of just rocks where people have their chairs all over. The trip there with Captain Morgan Cruises was ok, but also crowded. We were on a Gullet wich I am pretty sure was better... More

This place is phenomenal, but is usually overcrowded at the turists season. If You will stay at the island longer that one day, You will have opportunity to visit this place late afternoon, when the last turist from Malta are gone, or evenings when is much quiet.

We went on the turkish boat ride to the blue lagoon which was an amazing traditional boat, very rocky. Would not recommend for kids but great for adults as a bar and food on the boat. Once we got to the lagoon we paid 10 euros to go on a speedboat which was amazing, we went into the caves (other... More
