We took the Viking tours as a part of a cruise that stopped in Heimaey. The service was great and they covered the whole island. Their guides were clever and comprehensive and they told individual stories and accounts of life in Heimaey.

Viking Tours offers boating and bus tours of Heimaey Island. Both are a great way to learn about the island's birds, sights, and volcanic formations. We did both. The morning boat ride takes off just after the first ferry arrives from the mainland, and circles the island. It's a good introduction to life on Heimaey.
