Was due to have a helicopter flight with Helicopter Service of Iceland but the Icelandic weather had other ideas and as a result no flight happened! You're not doing the exchange rate math wrong, HSI really is that expensive. While the brochures advertised tours starting at under 200EU, none of the prices quoted to me were less than $800 USD. We went on a tour with the Helicopter Service of Iceland - www.helicopter.is/helicopter - and it was simply great. The facilities are very nice and the helicopter was clean and neat.
