I'm quite fussy about beer & didn't find this to my liking. However, it was a fun evening with lots of interesting facts & very generous pours. I was disappointed that the gift shop wasn't open to purchase a glass for my son, who collects them. The presenters were lots of fun and it was a good group of fellow... More

WOW....this brewery tour is awesome :) Our tour guide was very informative and a blast! She had a great sense of humour and was able to keep the group engaged. They are not shy with the samples either. I was feeling pretty good by the end of the tour lol A great evening out (or pre-bar night....tour -"disco nap"-bar hopping).... More

We had taken an earlier tour in the day with Iceland Excursions and saw an ad for this on the bus . Since we had no evening plans that day we decided to go for it. We had the pleasure of having Sylvia as our guide in the brewery and she was a blast. Off the wall but fun as... More

This was a HUGE surprise! I am not sure if it is the same women who do this tour everyday, but we must have had the best. Learned so much about he history of Iceland and beer in the process. Definitely come thirsty... As they are not shy I. Handing put samples. What a fabulous evening, met some other fun... More

I was so disappointed in our tour of the golden circle. The bus was overcrowded, cramped and not a comfortable experience. Our travel agent booked this tour for us and I was not aware that it was with Gray line and with a large group. I would have preferred a smaller tour with a less talkative guide. She talked non-stop... More

This tour lasted about 1 hour, 1.5 hours. We were served various kinds of alcohol- the standard Eglis lager, the Icelandic beer substitute used during prohibition, an Icelandic non-alcoholic Christmas drink, shots of Brennivin, and a few others, including unfiltered stuff. The tour of the brewery itself didn´t last more than 20 minutes at most and was very short. The... More

The BEST trip that we did in Iceland!!! Approximately 20 mins outside of Reykjavik you are taken to the actual brewery that makes the majority of Iceland's beer and soft drinks. on arrival you are welcomed to your own room and provided with your first (of many) beers. Your guide, we had Sylvia she was brilliant the best host you... More

This was one of the best tours we did! We got to sample Gull, Brio, Polar Beer, the beer substitute, the Christmas drink (malt & orange soda), Tuborg straight out of the fermenting tank, and Brennivin. Sylvia is very energetic and highly entertaining as she tells you about Iceland's history. As everyone else has mentioned, the "samples" are huge- you... More

EXCELLENT! Iceland has an interesting alcohol history!!! We've been on many interesting brewery tours around the world, and this one did not disappoint! What made this tour so wonderful was the guide with all her knowledge and the many beers we sampled!!!! We spent most of the "tour" sitting at a high table, eating delicious "corn chips" from a big,... More

During our week in Iceland I have to say this was one of our favorites. We were fortunate to book this for the first day which I recommend others to do as well - mainly because its relaxed, easy, and gives you a chance to meet others and ask the guide about the city. The guide, "Husky" was awesome and... More
