A great view over Reykjavik from these hot water tanks. Brilliant idea to convert the top of these into a tourist attraction. There is a gift shop ( wuth a Christmas section of Icelandic items ) and a cafe. Down stairs there is a small exhibition area and more shopping but we did not have time to fully cover this... More

On a clear day you will be able to see the whole city in front of you. you might eat at the restorant on top or do some shoping for there are three shops in Perlan, all on the fourth floor. They are the Gourmet Shop, the Souvenir Shop and the Christmas Shop. enjoy

Definitely worth visiting for the views. Cafe had a good choice of food and drink options, but ran out of cakes towards the end of the afternoon. Unfortunately the tables were messy and needed clearing away.

We spent a few hours here recently, due to a flight from Reykjavik Domestic being delayed for seven hours. We didn't eat anything apart from very good gelato, tea and coffee, but that was all good. The main thing, from our point of view, was that it was comfortable, had good WiFi, and of course has those wonderful 360 degrees... More

Views from the observatory deck are spectacular, if you are there on a clear day. Food in the cafeteria has a large variety and is very reasonably priced compared to many other tourist places.

This is one of those places EVERY tourist bus seems to stop at, so it was quite crowded. We arrived on foot, and didn't expect the place to be swarming. It was hard for us to navigate the crowds just to get up the stairs, but the view was definitely worth it. It is a bit off the beaten path,... More

A good spot to get a view of Reykjavik on a clear day. Wear a jacket, though, since it can be quite windy.

As you drive up to the pearl, the glow of the dome is interesting, the view from the outside ( on a clear day) gives you the ability to get an overview of the city. The cafeteria serves bland food, at best. The gift shop is way over priced
