Our story starts way back in 1983 as a rafting company with the Boat people on Hvita river. We have been rafting this river all those years and even though we broadened our range of products a lot throughout the last years, we are still Iceland's elite rafting company. Today anyhow, we operate a multitude of tours in South Iceland, both from our headquarters in Reykjavíks city center and our base camps on the Golden Circle close to Geysir and Gullfoss and in Skaftafell in the South East. We also operate a number of tours in Thingvellir National Park. « less

Caving with Gilli was great. He sure knows how to tell stories and making us feel the importance to respect nature. His was full of attention and was friendly enough to make a sweden girl's birthday one to remember. It was an extraordinary experience. Thank you More

A big group of my friends went to Iceland for a bachelor party and I took it upon myself to plan two trips for us to get outside Reykjavik to see what iceland had to offer. Arctic Adventures was recommended by a friend as a great company to use for our trips and they delivered an awesome experience. Without going... More

We chose the "Iceland winter escape" 3 day tour package, and it was fantastic. The first day was mainly sight seeing, but also included an exploration of a lava cave. The second day was a glacial hike, and the third day was a trip to the blue lagoon. Booking was very easy, and they promptly responded to all questions. Our... More

About 6 months ago, someone sent me a link to the Blue Lagoon webcam. Ever since, the idea of a trip to Iceland had been gaining momentum in my mind. As my wife’s birthday (a BIG one!) approached, that idea gelled in to a plan and so our long weekend to Iceland was born . . . . Lots of... More

A fantastic trip onto the Langajokul glacier in a Land Rover with an excellent guide, Arnar. We saw incredible scenery and to be the only people on top of the glacier was amazing. Over the 2 days we saw and learnt a lot about Iceland and tried some really good food. Would really recommend this and even though we didn't... More

We LOVED this tour! Our guide, John, took us to all of the major Golden Circle sights, plus the "Kerid", a volcanic crater lake, as well as snowmobiling on a glacier. What an experience!!! It was AMAZING. Such a fun day! The company was super-reliable, and the experience was really once-in-a-lifetime. Be sure to dress warmly, bring your best gloves,... More

I went on a 5-day Winter Island Exploration trip with Arctic Adventures together with my gf. From start to end, the trip has been fabulous. Booking and admin: I was recommended by a friend and asked many questions thru email before deciding on the tours I wanted to do. They were always quick to respond and never got annoyed with... More

We went on the Golden Circle + Snowmobiling combo, it was amazing! You cannot adequetly describe what it feels like to zip along a glacier on a snowmobile. The tour also hits all the major natural attractions most people want to hit in Iceland (aka The golden circle). Our guide was very nice and handled the super jeep well. More

We booked the Black and Blue trip with Arctic Adventures before going to Iceland, and had no problems with the helpful staff per email. Our guide Oskar picked us up in the morning with his van, and to our delight, we found out only one other person was travelling with us. After trying out the dry-suits for the snorkeling in... More
