First off- the dive is cold... very cold. Unless you are used to cold water diving, you will probably not want to do two dives. But it was a great experience. They briefed us on how to deal with the drysuit and what to expect. There was a diver on my trip that had no business doing that dive, fortunately... More

I have to admit to being apprehensive at first, but I have to say this was an amazing experience. Patrik, our guide, was prompt in picking us up directly from our hotel. From there, you stop at a small gift shop where there are facilities, a place to change into thermals, and food. I would suggest getting food, because we... More

Having never dived with drysuits before I was a bit apprehensive at first but AJ (Asgeir) soon changed my apprehension to excitement, and rightly so. The dive was out of this world! Pictures can't do it justice. The gear was prepped beforehand so all we had to do was squeeze into the gear. AJ gave us all enough time to... More

A must do dive for every scuba diver! Cold, crystal clear water where you can touch era sis and North American Teutonic plates at the same time!

Yes, we had a horrible day of weather on the day we tried to snorkel Silfra but things could have been handled so much better. First the travelers not coming by bus from Reykjavik were told to meet by 11 yet the bus passengers didn't arrive until much closer to 12. Next the briefing about the geology of the area... More

This was an amazing experience! We signed up for the snorkeling tour. We were nervous about how cold we would be, but with your thermals and all the parts of the dry suit, you could barely feel the water (yes it was still cold, but tolerable). Only your mouth and hands could directly feel the water. Our tour guides were... More

We booked Dive.Is in late January 2015 for a tour of the Golden Circle and to snorkel the Silfra fissure. Siobhan was our driver/guide and took the divers into the fissure. She was funny, energetic, friendly, relaxed and real. I was impressed that she was in good spirits and chatty the entire time, even when the majority of us were... More

There's a reason diving the Silfra fissure makes every top 10. Dive.is did a fantastic job the whole day, and was very accommodating. Pick up was super easy, the dive was great, vis was excellent, and the hot chocolate and cookies were perfect after the dive!

Diving the jaw dropping crystal clear waters of Silfra was the experience of a lifetime. Thanks to our guide & intructor AJ, the whole day was incredible from start to finish. Will definitely be doing another day tour with Dive.is when I'm next in Iceland & requesting AJ again as my guide/instructor.

My husband and I were on the snorkeling/Golden Circle tour. The scenery was beautiful (of course) but even the most beautiful places can be a buzz kill if the person guiding you isn't so great. AJ was the most phenomenal guide ever. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time and was very knowledgable along... More
