Words cannot express how much fun we had on our two tours with BusTravel Iceland! We went on the Golden Circle and South Coast tours, meeting Kali our tour guide both times, who was fantastic! His brilliant sense of humour coupled with his knowledge and stories made for two incredible days of adventuring and has given us a whole host... More

We did a special offer package that included airport transfer, blue lagoon and golden circle and looking back are amazed at the good value for the price. We were a bit nervous after some reports of late airport pickup and made sure we had their phone number to hand but we had no problems and the mini bus was where... More

We booked (online) a transfer from the airport to the Blue Lagoon and then to our hotel in Reykjavik. The bus was nowhere to be found at the airport parking lot, so we called the BusTravel office on the number provided: the person we spoke to said he'd check on the bus, but never bothered to call back. Had to... More

Booked a half day Golden Circle tour as we wanted to make the most of our short time in Iceland. Not many companies offer the shorter tour and Bustravel seemed the best option. We were picked up at our hotel by our lady driver right on time. It was a smallish mini bus that wasn't packed. We saw all the... More

First their prices were cheaper than the other (bigger) tour outfits on the same itinerary. We took the south coast glacier tour (had wanted to go to Jakulsarlon, but the tour was cancelled due to weather). We enjoyed the nice walk up to the base of glacier. The glacier walk wasn't available due to weather, so we just hung out... More

We joined the afternoon tour on the 23rd November for the golden circle. This company appear much cheaper than the other tour companies but visit the same places so we thought we would give them a try. I'm glad we did the bus turned up at our hotel early and was a small mini bus with only about 10 people... More

We walked into the Trip tourist office of the main shopping street and booked the afternoon Golden Circle tour, because it was the cheapest. Everything in Iceland is expensive, so saving any money has to be a bonus. We got it for 6500 IK each, the evening before travel. The mini bus turned up at the hotel on time, we... More

Bustravel was recommended to us by our place where we stayed (Eric the Red Guesthouse). I communicated with Bustravel before and after making our reservations for "Special Offer + Southern Iceland". This included airport pick up, Grand Golden Circle tour, Southern Iceland tour, ride to the Blue Lagoon and airport run from the Blue Lagoon. The responsiveness from the office... More

Would have given a one for rating but the return driver did not have a bad attitude therefore you get 2 rating. Over 30 minutes late to pick up for Blue Lagoon and driver was very extremely rude and didn't think standing in the cold for 30 minutes waiting should have been a problem! Give this company amiss and go... More

We joined several tours organised by Bustravel Iceland and I strongly recommend this company. Firstly, the price is comparatively lower than other tour companies. Secondly, we were lucky to meet the guide Igor Jorgson(not quite sure about the correct spelling) on our tour to Glacier Lagoon Jokulsarlon. His english is perfect, his love for his country and city impressed us,... More
