Used Bustravel Iceland for our transfers to/from KEF, and the Blue Lagoon. In addition, we booked the Grand Circle tour which included a guided round trip tour to the Geysir area, Gullfoss, and the volcanic crater lake - Kerið. We also had a few unscheduled, time-permitted stops which were a pleasant surprise. We also booked a trip to - Jökulsárlón... More

I am not sure if I can really review Bustravel Iceland. So I booked my Golden Circle Afternoon tour with Bustravel Iceland and read all the reviews for Bustravel Iceland. When I got picked up from a van with bustravel Iceland on it, I was surprised when he said we would be transferring to another bus later. When I got... More

Was on this tour where we visited The Golden Circle and afterwards we were at a Rettir (it's where you help the farmers to gather the sheep for the winter). We had Hermann Valsson as our guide and he was an amazing guide! Go with these guys, they are truly amazing!

Bustravel Iceland picked us up from the airport to take us to Blue Lagoon, a slight delay as we had to organise the bus as the driver seemed a little bemused at how many people he was picking up even though his list tells him. We used Bustravel for our tour of The Golden Circle, on time and very polite... More

Arrived at the airport at 0825 and was busy looking for my pickup to the blue lagoon (3150 ISK). Could not find it at first but in the end I found like minded people and we found the place to wait for the bus. It came at 0915. Driver doesn't seem to speak English, and it was a pretty small... On September 15th was at the the Golden circle with Bustravel. If attempts to exclude almost contemporary singing into the microphone and nonsense of the middle-aged guide with a name like Andre, eight-hour tour would be suitable for 6 hours short GC. We left Reykjavik at 8:45 and returned in 15:30 because it was a "very special day" of the... More

I chose the special package deal for myself and traveling buddy. Cons: A few days before leaving Canada I confirmed our airport pickup only to be given a coupon for pickup by Flybus not Bustravel. What would have happened if I hadn't contacted them?? Flybus was horrendous. We sat in the bus for 1.5 hours while they proceeded to fill... More

Great tour guide, mix of wit and knowledge, didn't feel hassled and he was very patient with our daft questions - lovely chap! - the young bus driver that collected us from the airport was a font of knowledge too, so felt really excited about what we had to look forward to - great tour company who really gets it...
