We opted for the afternoon tour as it was the middle of January and there isn't that much sunlight anyway. They picked us up from our hostel in a minibus and we had a small group of 11. Our tour guide was fantastic, knowledgeable, and funny. We spent about 30 minutes at each destination - Thingvellir, Golden Waterfall, and Geysir.... More

I booked trip to Blue Lagoon and Golden Circle with Bustravel and all I can say they definitely delivered and they are way cheaper than major companies. Golden Circle trip was very entertaining, our driver made sure we saw all the main spots and had plenty of time to take pictures, have a bite to eat etc. I'd recommend for... More

We booked a last minute trip to the golden circle with this company as we saw it advertised on the high street for a much cheaper price than competitors! We were a bit dubious because we'd never heard of the company and even more dubious when the minibus hadn't picked us up 45 minutes after they were due to pick... More

Pick ups were timely and only a brief stop was made for those transferring to an airport bus. Slightly cheaper in price for this service than competitors too.

The freezing cold bus ruined the whole day, as well as the way I was treated by the tour guide/bus driver for asking to turn up the heat. Horrble man who effectively humiliated me in front of the whole bus. I had booked with bustravel the last time I was in Iceland and it was fine so I had booked... More

My wife and I visited Iceland last month without making many plans ahead of time. When we arrived, we were disappointed to see that the pricing and reputation of the larger bus tour companies was less than stellar. We did a little more research online and found Bustravel Iceland. Boy, am I glad we did! This company provides a great... More

We joined the afternoon tour on the January 1 for the Golden Circle. The driver was amazingly knowledgeable, talking about history, geography, culture etc. of the Iceland and I personally liked how proud he was about his country. We had a great trip.

No time wasted in the six hour tours. The tour guide was very Informative, he basically taught me about Iceland in terms of history, culture, politics, economic, beliefs, geography etc and made some jokes in between. Three visited places, geyser, gulfoss, and tectonic plate are nothing I have ever seen. Very very beautiful in the winter. Wear more clothes though,... More

This tour was great all-around! Great value and plenty of sights packed into this itinerary. We were at the various sights, off the bus, for about 5 hours of the 8 hour tour. The first stop was Faxi Falls, followed by Gullfoss Falls. We then stopped for lunch at the geyser for about 1 1/2 hours. There were plenty of... More

We went on the Southern Iceland tour mid-December, also opting for a glacier-climbing experience. We got picked up at the Grand Hotel as expected, and boarded a cozy minibus that already picked up quite a few tourists. We still had a few hours before sunrise (apparently there are only about 5 hours of sunlight in Iceland, from 11-ish to 4,... More
