it was the second morning during my stay in iceland.....with my second tour actually being cancelled (*ahem* reykjavik excursions!!!! grrr). it was approx 7:30am then so i figured i'd try to turn things around for the day: inquired at my hotel desk what other tours would be going on, if any, then proceeded to mention the glacier tour i had... We booked this tour last minute and I'm so glad we did. The afternoon tour is about 1500/2000kr cheaper than any other tour so I was expecting a no frills tour.... How wrong was I! We had the best tour guide- she was excellent a very dry sense of humour so she kept us entertained all the way through. And... More

The hotel I was staying in recommended this company for a return journey to the Blue Lagoon saying they were the cheapest. I usually review most services I use on holiday but what could go wrong on a straight forward journey to and from one of Iceland's major tourist attractions? Boy was I wrong. First of all, the driver arrived... More

We carefully selected Bustravel for our dream trip to Iceland based on the tours, packages and value for money that they offer. We communicated via email before booking, after booking whilst still in the UK and when in Iceland - all emails were answered promptly and politely. We couldn't believe how everything ran like a dream. The package we selected... More

The bus was a little old but I'd expect that as it was the cheapest option. The golden circle tour is worth doing but in hindsight the shorter afternoon tour would have been enough, it definitely felt like we were filling time to ensure we didn't return too early. The guide without a doubt made this trip for us he... More

we booked on the Internet before travelling airport transfer including blue lagoon, golden circle and southern iceland. Pick up was always on time and from outside our hotel. Guides were very informative and seemed to get us to spots ahead of the major crowds. Highlights were frozen waterfalls and the snow covered glacier. Oh and the geyser looked amazing against... Book online as alot cheaper and get the three way pick up..so picked up at airport, taken to blue lagoon, then to hotel.. Pickup/dropoff for Golden circle tour and then back to airport.. Driver a bit miserable not much of any communication, no info unless prompted which is a shame as one likes to chat and get info when visiting... More

We got the Grand Golden Circle and the Southern Iceland Tour. The minibuses they used were quite old but they're one of the cheaper options out there. The Golden Circle tour was nothing really special. But the Southern Iceland Tour guide, Omar, was actually very informative and entertaining. He cracked some jokes and even commented on some Icelandic social issues... More

We booked the special offer package which included Airport transfers (return to airport via the blue lagoon) and a golden circle day tour. The transfers were well organised and punctual, and the golden circle tour was fantastic. The tour was on a small bus (15 people) which was ideal as it had a more personal touch instead of 'coach trip'... More

An excellent experience. I booked this trip direct via the internet following recommendation and we were delighted that the trip was by minibus with just 6 guests. The driver/guide was very knowledgeable and clearly knew the ideal route to take in all the attractions whilst avoiding the masses on coaches. We had the right balance of stops throughout the day.
