We did the Golden Circle with Herman. Very good tour guide - I learned a lot about Iceland, today and earlier times. The Vikings, the Norwegian settlers and the fascinating geology of this country

We had an amazing experience with our guide Hermann Valsson. Very funny and generous. The golden circle is a must and the tour is absolutely worth the price :)

We came to Iceland to see an old friend. Her family owned business "Bustravel" gave us the opportunity to see one of the most magnificent sights in the world, The Glacier Lagoon. Where else can you get up close and personal with a glacier? Our tour guide was Herman and his commentary on the beautiful sights we saw made our... More

Collected and returned to cruise ship. Excellent trip and would definitely recommend. The price was approx. one-third of the cruise excursion. No problems with booking over the internet. Fantastic.

I did the extended Golden Circle tour with a friend. We were picked up on time from our hotel by our very friendly tour guide, Dorothea. She told us the schedule and talked with us about each place we visited as we drove. I had hurt my foot, and so she she kept me company and drove me to each... More

Very good trip, the guide, Herman, was very good and very informative and spoke good English. The tour guide was very enthuastic about explaining the history of Iceland, and the formation of various geographical formations. This lead to a well paced trip consisting of mainly driving and looking at the landscapes with frequent stops for the loo, food and exploring.

Easy to book with and quick responses to queries via email before arriving in Iceland. Used Bustravel to get picked up / dropped off at airport and all our tours, they were punctual, friendly & knowledgeable, although some of the buses could be a bit more comfortable.

Their fares are cheaper than other companies but, honestly my bus (for the Golden Circle Tour) was a bit old, no air conditioning, driver and guide were the same person and I don't think it's a good idea to mix this two jobs together. The driver/guide spoke in English but sometimes not completely understandable because of the strong icelandic accent.... More

I took the grand golden circle with a friend. I did love all the sights we saw, more than any other bus tour I saw for much cheaper and I felt like we had enough time at each place. The downsides were that our female tour guide was not very friendly and gave very blunt and random facts about the... More
