it is bigger than it looks in pictures...or perhaps that was just me. Still stunning from every angle. Just be prepared to wait a few min for the photographers to step out of your shot. Everyone seemed to be courteous and aware of who was 'next' and it all moved along nicely. If you go in the summer months, see... More

We passed by this minimalist but beautiful statue a few times, and thought it fit perfectly along an otherwise wonderful waterfront area. But when we happened to be driving by at midnight, as the sun broke through the clouds just as it set (for only a very short while), it was absolutely stunning. We weren't the only travelers enjoying this... More

Stunning sculpture on the harbour. You cannot take a bad photo. You can continue to walk and then take photos of the Harpa Concert Hall.

The sculpture calls for taking pictures from here; with the sun on top you'll have great views on the snow covered mountains across from Reykjavik. Worth to visit and enjoy the picture taking.

Beautiful sculpture overlooking the bay. We posed for photos on the way back to our hotel from town walking along the shore.

Fantastic to take a shot as sun is going down. It is set on polished marble to imitate the sea...gorgeous...and just a few... More

Definitly worth seeing. Beautiful scenery behind sculpture for fantastic pictures. Can even climb on for a personalized photo.

Striking steel sculpture, which reflects light beautifully. I visited multiple times, in different light conditions, and each was a different experience. I found this "fantasy boat," set against the backdrop of the mountains and the sea, to be a dream-like, meditative experience. A great place to take in the midnight sun in the summer or the sunset any time of... More

Nicely located on board walk, it was beautiful at night in summer. A lot of people come to take pictures.
