I managed at get a couple of photos of the Sun Voyager whilst I was walking along the seafront. The weather was a bit misty and rainy which didn't show it off in it's best light, but it is still quite a dramatic sight. Well worth a look if you are in the vicinity.

Highly impressive piece of work. This sculpture is well worth seeing and is easy to find at seafront a few minutes walk from ultra modern concert hall.

Very cool sculpture 5 mins walk from the Center Hotel Arnahovll. Captures the spirit of the town and if you get good clear weather the view really sets it off. Worth a quick visit when you are in Reykjavik.

Located at the coastal area in the centre of Reykjavik, a lovely sculpture which probably the most photographed in Reykjavik. It was about half kilometre away from the Icelandic Opera House.

If you like photography this sculpture is very photographic. I went back a few times with different light and weather conditions, it really is quite hard to NOT get a good shot. On my last visit we had just had a light snow fall the night before and the mountains in the distance were a great backdrop. This is very... More

This is worth strolling along the waterfront to see and photograph. There were a lot of people there with tripods taking lots of pictures so you have to be patient to get the sculpture without other tourist in the shot.

The sculpture is nice enough, a modern replica of a viking ship, it is located on the sea wall so it gives a nice view out over the sea and of the glaciers beyond. Its worth a walk down to it for a quick look.
