We are wondering why bother pre-booked because they gave our places to other people that's didn't book, just in front of us, while we were waiting at the counter ! Ok we were a bit late ( your are suppose to come 30 minutes in advance), but still they could have ask as we were waving our booking paper in... More

Wow, this was great and amazing. We (2+ 10 yr old daughter) went on a Zodiac boat (with 7 others) all the way into the icelagoon allmost near the glacier (which is allmost 7 miles). Compared with the other boat trips, this is much more personal, longer and much better. The captain took time tto look around, to explain and... More

This excursion was exciting and provided an up close view of icebergs from a zodiac. Although the proprietors said it would be a rough ride it really wasn't. The wind was blowing hard and after our trip they stopped running, but we found the bumps added to the experience. One suggestion would be to make sure that you bring a... More

Don't even think about missing this tour - it is just amazing! Be careful to find the right company because there are two different Zodiac tours at the same place: this one starts from a little truck on the lefthand side at the entrance to the parkinglot (not at the back where the houses are). You really have to arrive... More

Photographs do not do this natural spectacle justice. The sight of the vast lagoon (and the surrounding vista) is unique and spectacular. Although commercial activities are present in the lagoon they do not overwhelm or spoil the sights. On our journey we encountered other Iceland adventurers who told us the Zodiac was the experience to do. They weren't wrong. We... More

This is the way to see the lagoon! You go to the far end near the edge of Glacier tongue. Our guide educated us about the melting of ice and how the sea is speeding up the process. We were lucky to see a iceberg crack and flip over. So cool!

Even though it was a bit rainy we loved this excursion. The foul weather suits are quite good and the boat very stable. after a short ride to the dock we boarded the Zodiac for a quick ride to the face of the glacier. Fantastic floating ice of many shades of blue with black streaks, Wonderful formations of melting calves... More

Thats the only way to describe the experience! Though we read a lot about the Hovers - we were glad we took this trip! It takes you much closer to the glaciers as well as the floating icebergs. We were even lucky to see icebergs freshly breaking! Excellent warm suits and quick service. Just a suggestion - a better signage... More

I am sure this would have been a great experience, but they have no sign for their truck and we queued at a different boat tour first, which meant we were ten minutes late (20 minutes before departure) and they had given our places away. They didn't even bother to call us, even though we had entered our phone number... More

Knowing how popular the lagoon ice tours are we booked about two months in advance and chose the zodiac tour over the amphibious boat. I'd recommend taking this tour for sure as they quickly go way out on the lagoon and you see so much more. Booking in advance is also essential during the busy tourist season as we saw... More
