We had wanted to experience the energy of Iceland and enjoyed visiting the sites around Lake Mývatn. Andreas himself was very knowledgable in explaining the geological phenomenons and we certainly enjoyed the jeep tour through the region observing the waterfalls, shifting tectonic plate. lava fields, and crater-like mounds surrounded by blue waters and iced plateaus. I am full of passion for the North of Iceland and that passion is what I want to convey to our guests combined with insight into every day life at the polar circle and deeper understandings of the workings of the island of fire & ice. Iceland is unique and fascinating.

I highly recommend this wonderful day trip with Inspiration Iceland. We started from Akuyeri and drove inland where we had a great day. We visited a number of areas - we went to the beautiful waterfall of Godsafoss and then to the area of the "trolls" - rock formations where you walk around. We had a lovely trout lunch there...
