On a summers day, this was a wonderful park to visit and also climb the tower. There is a lift to an enclosed viewing area and then two small steep stair ladders to open viewing platform, or an easy walk up stairs in only minutes from the bottom. Reasonable entry fee Euro2 to tower is worth it for the 360... More

Loved walking every where things to visit were close that you could walk every where almost. We went from Nasilinna to Palatsi which was my Great Grand fathers home to Finlayson which he built and then to Finlayson Factory which he owned and then to the city center beautiful buildings lots more to see.

Make sure you try Munkki freshly made over here in the tower. Great place to get a view of both lakes and Tampere city.

Pyynikki torni offers the best donuts (Munkki) in town, nice views of the city and a beautiful area for nature walks

Worth of visiting. Cafe downstairs is very local and you need to taste munkki (bun/donut). Perus Tamper settiä

This place has probably the best donuts in Tampere region. Because of that definitely worth of visit. Scenery is awesome as well. You can either climb up to the tower (costs couple of euros) or simply wonder through the woods to vantage point.

great place to visit for walk in summer or autumn. Nothing particullary to do just wandering through forest-park. Next to the Tower it is nice munches in cafe, but cafe is tiny and always overcrowded. Nothing else in the whole area

Visited for an extended family outing on a rainy day. I did not go up the observation tower looked like it costs 2€. The warm donut was fantastic. Reminded me of the cider ones I get back in Michigan in the fall. On a nicer day there are plenty of trails to walk and of course the tower Which offers... More

Stopped here on a walk of the area( you can get a map from the Tourist information office and take the green route). On the day we were there they had a cycle race on and as this was the start/finish line the place was packed. For a few Euros you can have the pleasure of climbing the steps to... More
