It's not that long, about 10 minutes walk from one end to the other, but you can't say it's not evocative. From the railway station at one end to the Aleksanterin Kirkko at the other, you'll pass by all the main shops. Go across the bridge and have a wonderful view of the Tammerkoski rapids, the Finlayson and Tampella works... more
