I loved this little museum that allows you to see the way a wealthy shipping family lived. You can also see how modifications were made over the years. It was Lace Week during our visit, so we also got to see many displays of lace and lacemakers at work. Definitely worth a visit.

Small museum in a house where a shipowner lived in the 18th century. Gives and impression of that time. Worthwhile but not outstanding.

The well-kept home museum of a shipping company owner is a wonderful place to visit. It is possible to imagine the daily life of the family in those days.

The rooms of this house museum are full of period furniture and other decorations, giving a clear picture of the life of the wealthy of the late 1900s. Special features: decorative tile stoves, period costumes. During our visit was a special exhibition of regional folk hats from all over Europe.
