A very special park indeed. I visited it with my GF, because a friend of ours was working there (actually as a moomin ;) ) It is much different from parks like Disney World or Walibi. This one focuses less on roller coasters or other fancy rides, but much more on experience with the actual characters. There is more interaction... More

We arrived to Naantali around 11 AM and to our surprise got a parking space very easily. We walked to Moominworld island, distance was around 600m. Prepurchased ticket prints ensured fast access. Island was crowded and it was very hot, so own water bottles were very much needed. We spent 3 hours on the island, and walked back to Naantali... More

Our family, mom, dad, 7 years old son and 3 years old dotter, visited Muumimaailma again this summer. We just love the place! And so do the others, the place seems to always so crowded! We love the thater shows, exciting paths in the beautiful nature and of course all the characters from the Moomin tales! Kids had super fun... More

Moominworld is pretty much a "must-go" for any parents of 2-6 year olds. But as my friend put it; "it's a place where you hug Moomins". That's it, nothing less, nothing more. Characters are fun, adorable, and very much child friendly. Other attractions, like the Moomin house, path to walk, beach are pretty boring and at least our son would... More

We introduced our daughter to the Moomins at 1-years old. It was great to see her smile when she saw the Moomin house. It was fun to see adult visitors from Japan with the same smile. Great creations into the real world from the books. The Grook was a little disappointing. But she enjoyed story time with Snufkin and Vilionka... More

It took us less than an hour to see the whole place and the tickets are very expensive. This is really just a place for kids to play around as I can't see adults enjoying it really.

This is a lovely theme park that will delight anyone who has read the books. However, it seemed aimed at the under 8s, my 12 year old wasn't that enthused, although of course it will also appeal to adult fans. There is some merchandising but it is at a much lower level than I have seen at other attractions.

The place was really crowded and there was not many staff around. We met the moon characters, which was nice. I'd recommend the theater.

For younger kids, this amusement park must be wonderland! Located on a small island in walking distance from Naantali, it was well worth a visit for our family. We stayed in Turku, and had a 15-minute car trip to get to Naantali. There are several parking options, some of them are free but also implies a 5-10 minute walk to... More
