Old Market Hall has a lot of small shops. Finnish food at it's best. Souveniers and finnish tea, coffee, candies. Stop by for a coffee or for lunch, and enjoy the atmosphere! Locals come here to get their fish, meat and vegetables. A bit more expensive than big foodmarkets, but a market hall is always a market hall :)

Great food here - tried bear & reindeer salami, reindeer meatballs and local foods, cheeses etc. Definitely a foodie stop when touring Finland. Friendly, helpful staff & you're spoilt for choice with the variety on offer. Stay and enjoy or take some samples home for later.

It's a good way to participate in the real finish way of life. Although there's no 'tramps' it's - like always - great and good differences between the 'boutiques'.

This market was almost, if not just as, impressive as the outdoor market nearby. We really enjoyed strolling these indoor grounds, admiring the great presentation, hygienic and tasty appearance of the food on offer here.
