It was a beautiful morning in Helsinki when we stopped here. I wish I had been hungry as the food smelled wonderful. Lots of souvenirs available, something for everyone.

The market was lively and the stalls had a large variety of stuff to buy. From wine openers to stuff toys, they are all there ready to be sold. And it is also waaaaaay cheaper than the stuff in shopping malls.

The old market hall full of small cafes and food stalls selling an amazing range of local produce. Great place for lunch.

Enjoyed our visit here to the outdoor market on a Sunday morning. Lots of fresh produce, plenty of soft fruits. Wanted to try cloudberries as we had been told about this local fruit but at 15 € gave them a miss in case we didn't like them. Plenty of locally made items for sale. Leather goods looked great quality as... More

Lots of options for souvenirs and food, just pay attention to what you're paying for. Some of it is quite cheap, bit hey! That's to be expected. Was here on a Thursday so I'm sure I missed out on some vendors but the ones there had a decent amount of merchandise. Bought a beautiful silver spectralite necklace from a very... More

Although not as cheap as the outdoor markets, the indoor shops are very good indeed - we spent a couple of lunchtimes here assembling an assortment of items to try.

This market is more for the locals, but there is plenty for visitors as well. Compared to the outdoor market, this was more permanent merchants looking to establish a business. It was nice and worth a quick visit.

We were lucky as the old market hall just reopened when we where there. It's been completely redone, so I have no idea how it looked before, but when we were there it all looked very new and fresh. It's not cheap by any means and the market that is outside is considerably cheaper. Still the market hall is fun... More

On a big square just on the harbour front there are a lot of stalls every day selling food and typical Finnish handicrafts. The place worth a visit, and if you are hungry a small bite can be taken. The handicraft stalls are expensive, but there is some fine things to buy as well. We were there on a windy... More

We had seafood lunch at the market, very tasty and interesting, watched boat departing right in front of us while we ate. Also bought some very fresh cherries and blue berries. There are many local souvenirs being sold there as well.
