I LOVE this place ! Can you imagine an almost unspoilt island a mere water-bus ride from the capital city with sandy beaches, forest, warm rocks ( if you go on a sunny day ! ) clear water, great coffee and doughnuts AND views over Helsinki that make people drool ? Take your binoculars & your camera ... I have... More

Filled with people if good weather. Visitor port has electricity and possibility to fill portable water tanks. Restaurant had HUGE queues, but food came quickly, after I manage to place my order.

Popular place to spend a summer day. Take the ferry from café carousel in kaivopuisto. Pick up some strawberries on the way. Bring your swimming stuff and picnic food. Enjoy the beach, or pick a spot on the rocks by the water, go swimming and watch cruise ships go by. There's also a restaurant on the island. The food isn't... More

This is a nice island next to helsinki. It has long sand beach with children friendly places. It is possible to stay with tent over night and you can find three places to grill your own food. Toilettes are oldish and smells like "camping spirit". You can find restaurant in island if you prefer to eat or drink there. Boats... More

That is except the naturist beach! A island only 13 minutes by boat from Helsinki. The beaches are lovely, but the views are somewhat spoilt by industrial Helsinki. Never mind, enjoy the natural environment and the sea breeze.

With a short ferry ride (small fee between 5-7 euros per adult return trip) you reach the island. There are several scenic overlooks, including a lighthouse tower and a restaurant. There are also many bbq spots located around the island. They are free to use, first come first serve, or share with a friendly group of strangers! We celebrated mid-summer... More

Just the antidote to sightseeing in the summer city. Relaxation and summer flowers. Take a boat trip and a holiday.

You go to this island by boat. There is restaurant, camping area and two beaches. First beach is normal and the other beach (little far away) is nudist beach. This nudist beach is one of few official nudist/naturist beaches in Finland

This island is a boat trip away from the city center. Here you can relax next to the sea (Gulf of Finland). There is a restaurant fully licenced and a beach for nudists if you like.
