It´s the olympic stadium of helsink, is not too big, because the olympics was in 1952 and it was the first olympic games after the second world war, there is a museum that you can see some history.

This cost about £13 for a family of four (I don't think many places in Helsinki charge for children) and spent an hour or so there. There was a lot of information about when the Olympics were held and the views from the top of the tower were outstanding. If you like to learn about places you visit, this is... More

We visited on a Friday morning and were amazed at how quiet it was. The lift was very small (maximum of 5 people) so it is just as well that there wasn't a queue. The views of both the stadium and Helsinki were great. We were also able to go into the seating area of the stadium where my eleven... More

Not much of an attraction really - a quick walk from the disappointing Sibelius monument, this is a largely free and large site to wander round. It has a tower from which you get a nice view, and costs 5 euro per person.

This Stadium is listed as one of the most beautiful stadiums. It was built in 1938, and the 1952 Olympic games were hosted here. The adjoining Tower is 72 meters high ( about 14 storeys high). That was the height at which Paavo Nurmi -- a decathlon Olympian -- threw his Javelin capturing a world record at the time. Of... More

The Olympic tower is the perfect place to see a beautiful overview of Helsinki. The lift up is rather small. The day we went it was quite windy at the top but was a sunny day. The facility is well maintained.

Great views of the city from the Olympic Tower. Half price if you show receipt from hop-on, hop-off tour buses. Elevator is small (3-4 people MAX). I would not recommend for someone with a wheelchair as they would experience difficulty.

Great place to go very tall building and not one for those who are scared of heights like none of my teenagers who refused to come up with us in the lift. Excellent views of Helsinki from the top.

The Olympic Stadiunique um was biult for Helsinki Olympic Games in 1952. It has unique, old time feeling and the tower is the must place to visit if you are in that part of town. You can see the whole Helsinki fron the tower.
