Linnanmäki is a place for people all ages. It's the best amusement park in Finland, but nothing compared to the amusement parks of the world.. Take some food with you because the restaurants are expensive and quite bad. If you have the chance, at least you should just see the place - without buying the wristband to the amusement equipment.... More

Plenty of rides in a compact area. Most of the rides are moderate, no extreme rides except Kirnu roller coaster. The classic type of a wooden roller coaster from the 50's is a must. Food there is too expensive for it's quality.

Free entrance, free rides for small children, a variety of restaurants to choose from... aside of being a very traditional summer activity in Helsinki, Linnanmäki has been able to keep itself relevant while loyal to its roots. While it still contains a number of rides adults remember from their own childhood, Linnanmäki also contains a good selection of modern rides.... More

Even tough you wouldn't like to ride the amusementpark machines, it's a great place to spend the day. A lot to do for kids and adults. A bit expensive tho.

Free entry ! And a free Panorama ride for us oldies to see all around the City ! Yes some rides do cost but the choice is yours ! An appropriately gowned gal singing Nursery Rhymes so splendidly to an audience of two was disappointing. But the screams and sounds of delight from over the compact park were evidence that... More

If you are travelling in Helsinki in the summertime, make sure that you visit Linnanmäki. The area is quite compact and you can just go for a walk, enjoy a coffee or cotton candy, feel the childhood dream come alive. It is free of charge to visit the area, and they even have free of charge rides for the toddlers... More

I'm not a huge fan of going on rides anymore, but I still like to visit Linnanmäki. You can enter and stroll around the grounds for free and soak up the atmosphere. You can also purchase tickets for just one ride of for the whole day.

Well, this fun park middle of Helsinki offers many amusements for everybody for all day purpose. I do not enjoy all these rockets and machines which takes your head so mixed. Instead I enjoy to look and feel the athmosphere. People are screaming, lauhing, eating, smiling etc. So it is good that there is on payments to get in. You... More

An amusement park without an entry fee? Believe it or not. The catch? You have to pay for the rides. There are some free rides - most of which are for toddlers. Since my daughter is two, we did pretty well. We paid for a few rides - the old roller coaster for me and the big carousel for her.... More
