Linnanmaki is an excellent theme park in the heart of Helsinki. It is very compact so is not difficult to get round in a single visit. There is a good variety of rides, with some excellent roller coasters (my real reason for visiting) I found all the staff very friendly and helpful. The park was not particularly busy when I... If you are expecting theme parks that we have in the UK then put that aside or you will be disappointed. We bought our tickets at the ferry port in Tallinn to save queueing when we arrived, however this did not save us any time as we had to exchange our ticket for a wristband on arrival. The theme park... More

There is a great range of things to do (water rides, sea life center, ghost train) with plenty suitable for any age! Amazing if you like speed and height, as there are many adrenaline awakening rides. I suggest getting the whole day wrist band.

We're not fans of amusement parks but it was fun. A bit crowded as you might expect but all around nice. Will definitely go back.

A must place to visit in Helsinki, especially if you're with kids! It's not that big but it has everything you could expect. The queues are usually small, depends on a day of the week (more people in the weekend). The largest queue I've stood in Linnanmäki was 30 min and only to the most popular rides. I've visited Linnanmäki... More

We were on holiday in Helsinki, and thought we'd take a trip to the sea life centre and amazement park. The amusement park was closed when we arrived. Turns out it's only open April to October, so please bare that in mind if you try and visit outside of these times. Maybe we should have checked first! Never mind, it... More

Linnanmäki is a small and compact fun fair. You can pack surprisingly many things into a small space. Linnanmäki has the oldest wooden roller coaster in Europe. It is operated by a breaker i.e. a person doing the actual breaking at the back of each train. It is a must do. The rest are pretty standard but you can get... More

Visit one of the best amusement parks in Finland - just in the middle of town not far from city center. Enjoy one of the biggest wooden roller coaster in the world and smell the summer of Helsinki. Open every day during summer.

Your kids will love this one and you'll enjoy the time here too! It's fun. Not a very big amusement park but surely you can spend couple of fun hours here.
