This stadium was built for Helsinki Olympics held in 1952, and it is still in very good condition. During summertime the best place to go swimming, if you actually want to swim and not just sunbathe.

What is more sweet than to swim or water jog outdoors? The buildings are from Helsinki Olympiads 1952, beautifully simple functionalist architecture, and as the place is owned by the city, prices are low. Don't forget to bathe in the saunas afterwards!

50 meter olympic pool, diving platforms, childrens' pool and a lot of places for sun bathing. A real oasis in summertime.

This a outdoor swimming pool with heated water open on summer time. You can go there as early as 6.30 on the morning from Mondays to Saturdays. On Sudays they open at 9 am.
