I was somewhat disappointed. The bus does go to all the stops, but it is very hard to access the sound. It is in multiple languages. You could not see the number in the sun to set the language, and since the tour portion did not talk all the time you could not tell if it was language problem or... More

Was only in the city on a cruise ship for a short while so it was an easy way to see the sight of Helsinki and get to the centre. 30 minute wait for the next bus if you hop off. Get off at Senate Square and have a walk around, nice places to see and good fish restaurants and... More

First the staff meeting our cruise ship was very pushy and we sat for a long time until the bus was completely full before they would start the tour. Next, the free Wi-Fi did not work. Each bus driver said the server was down. Apparently all day, as we never did get it to work. The headsets looked like they... More

City Tour Hop On Hop off Red Bus 25 Euro Tip: Get a discount book at the information desk by the ship to get 20% off. Pros: Bus stops are clearly labelled. Cons: 1) Headphones: They are shared - unsanitary. And wet. (We visited on a rainy day.) They don't work - so much for audio guide. I don't even... More

Comfortable and convenient way to view the city. €25.00 seemed a little expensive but it is Helsinki ! Would have felt better value if had hopped on and off and spent time at individual sights.

Take buses are never my favorite option to explore the cities i'm visiting. But Hop On Hop Off Bus Tour was the best choice this time, once it was winter time, the day was very cold and rainy. We checked the most important turistic aereas, and the city inside a very cosy and warm bus with very nice explanations.

A poor headset connection meant the commentary was patchy at best. For the 25 Euro price I expected more. Worse still, after colliding with another vehicle our driver seemed devoted to his mobile phone with no regard to his passengers, some of whom were nearing a deadline to re-board their cruise ship. No information was given, no alternative transport provided... More

We took the red bus which at 25 euros each was expensive compared to other cities. The commentary was almost non existent and we spent a long time waiting to accommodate people from the cruise ships. We got off once and the next bus did not return for almost an hour. It was not good value for money.

The most dissappinting of our service for city viewing whilst on our cruise. The bus arrived at cruise port full and our elderly couple in our group of 6 got the only downstairs seats with no front view wharsover. It was apparent that it was very risky hopping off as judging by queues to hop on were very long. The... More

The hop on / hop off tour busses here seem to cater to cruise passengers: they operate when cruise ships are docked, they are priced just a little cheaper than shuttle busses offered by the cruise, they are partnered with cruise lines (you can buy tickets on the ship), and every bus goes to the cruise terminal. This is great... More
