Looks really impressive over Senate Square, although you might argue it looks a bit like a wedding cake... Inside it doesn't have the richness of Roman Catholic or Orthodox churches. But you see it from everywhere, even from the sea if you go on any cruise. Anyway, all routes lead you there, no matter what. More

The most attractive building in the city center. Towering above the Senate square, with nice view toward the sea. The cathedral is completely white, an eye catching monument with many stairs. The "Tuomiokirkko" is the symbol of Helsinki- possibly the most famous landmark of the city. Visit it, take many pictures with it, chill on the stairs amond the local people on a sunny day. Just be warned- since it is a lutheran cathedral, there is not much to see inside :) More
