Nice for a walk, with some interesting cafes and buildings. Try to go when the indoor market is open so you can eat some traditional soup!

Great outdoor cafes and top stores. Do not miss Marimekko, Iitala and Artex. Grab a salmon sandwich from one of the stalls in the market square.

Not that long walk but nice atmosphere, and you can also sit around and watch people go. But if you want to buy an ice cream, you'll pay more than elsewhere.

This is basically a long, rectangular park bordered by the Swedish National Theatre building at one end, and the harbor at the other, with many shops along the sides. It's a beautiful park space that is well integrated with the city and its architecture. A nice place to walk, to browse the shops along the way. But these are the... More

This is a very nice area of town with beautiful park in the middle and the building on the sides. Nice cafes and shopping also. Cafe Kappeli is very nice. Beautiful inside and good coffee and deserts. Esplanade is also close to the harbor where some cruise ships are located.

It is an elegant pathway with many design and boutiques surrounded with difference cafes. Take a look at Marimekko Design Shop, Book shop, Cos, Aarikka Design and many other finish talented creations around this neighborhood. The Cafe Strindberg is a great place to have a break. I love area.

This esplanad is one of main streets of Helsinki, it has south and north side of street and middle is walkingline with old trees (linneaus robur, so linden deciduous trees). Beside it are some good restaurants and battles. And if you doesnt tell to anybody i have to confess that a bit over two years ago i sold one dark... More

I guess this square/park is a bit overrated. Might be nice to hang out in summer, but otherwise there is not much to see. Couple of nice buildings around though. You cannot avoid crossing it once or twice while staying in Helsinki even for a weekend, as at the end you will find a port, or orthodox church.

This fashionable street offers a pretty walk - especially in the night lights - and gives you a choice between many restaurants, many of them quite expensive. Don't miss the Esplanadeat least one of the evenings during your stay in Helsinki.
