Cruise around the hall and get catched from finnish way of enjoying foods and tradition. Take a rest with nice fish finger food.

Stepping off a harbour boat tour, this market area was a pleasant discovery. Somewhat surprising that it is not built over and turned into a themed city experience event. Stalls laden with seasonal fruits and vegetables and nifty little cafes also laid out under the awnings. We sat down on wooden benches and ate an ample hot lunch by pointing... More

One of the highlights of our stay in Helsinki was this fantastic little market. The food was amazing, we ate their twice. My favourite food was the 'sautéed reindeer and mash', my hubby liked the weird little fish, both from the Lapland food stall. I bought so many things on this market: a hand-crafted hat; another hat and hood and... More

A bustling outdoor market with everything from tourist trinkets, to appealing open air cafes to furs to local produce and cheeses. Hungry or not, its an attractive setting and a great place to get an idea of local tastes and to people watch.

We spent the afternoon wandering the market and sampling the food which was delicious. In addition, there are small booths with lovely handicrafts so this place definitely contributed to the weight of our luggage!

I found this touted market rather bland. It's really more like a "flea" market with a few fruits and vegetables thrown in. Perhaps a quick walk through would suffice.

Once you get over being able to buy a toy reindeer that's sitting on top of a reindeer skin next to a fox skin there are lots of stalls selling lovely things. The fruit stalls are amazing, the bakery stall had some fab stuff and if you are peckish there's loads to choose from...........from salmon soup to filled crepes or... More
