A good place to visit and pop by. You can see local ppl selling local produce which they say is organic although I have never seen any licenses, to be fair neither I asked for them. If you like berries, cherries, rye bread ... Flowers, coffee open air place not cafes but you could have a cuppa 😁☕️

We visited Helsinki in May and it was still very cold on the day we were there, also to add to our frustration it was a public holiday and every thing was shut so the best we could do was walk around the city centre and harbour which was beautiful, have a look at a lovely old church that over... Maybe due to the summer holidays there were not many booths around. A stand to sit down, have coffee. Vegetable, potatoe and fruit selling stands. Some booths with rummage. Not many people were there altough it was a saturday. But tourists ... even from East-Asia. So, this seems to turn into a "tourist place". Overall a little boring.

This market is mostly visited by locals as the tourists tend to go to the main harbourside market. No souvenirs here, but crepes are half the price you would pay at the main market! So great to stop over for a coffee stop. The adjacent Market Hall is also worth a visit.

Beautiful and fun I recommend trying the food, whether at the stalls or buying and eating outside with the boats and outside market in view. In summer it may be quiet as a lot of people are on holiday.

Nice place to have a quick snack (cheaper as well), grab some souvenirs, both classic and more traditional ones.

We often come this way. It's great for cheap eats - especially if you are staying in an apartment hotel - the selection of foods is impressive and the fact that its not just another supermarket makes it just a bit more of an experience. Recommended

This market square is similar to the one downtown. There is an open market and a market hall. The major difference is that there are less tourists.
