Please do not mix this simple market with the matket on the Market Square, near to the seaside! Here you can find just couple of tables with fruits and veggies and couple of booths with flowers and that's it. Market for shopping and to grab a meal is on Market Square.

The best day to visit here is on Saturdays - because then there is more people and more vendors. And also on Saturdays there are some musicians so a good choiche is to have a cup of coffee with the tasty Eromanga meat pie or a plate of rice porridge. Enjoy!

This market is considered famous. We did enjoy walking about. Many locals buy produce, bakery items, seafood and more from here.

I will make a point to stroll the market - love the atmosphere, the market by the harbor. Buy some fresh berries that we don't have in North America, may be get a plate of grill salmon. I bought hand knit scarves, just right time for a chilly summer that I was not prepared for :-)

Lots of stalls, well worth a look, not many food outlets to eat at. The fruit and vegetables were very good. Good range from furs to local wood gifts. Nice to walk from town about 30 mins. Had a ferry dinner cruise that was very interesting. Probably more in the height of the season, it was still a little cold... More

It is biggist market in Helsinki. There are fresh fish, meat, cheese... You can also taste the best soup in the market hall. in the summer time, there are open air market in in front of the square.

We parked at Forum Parking and walked here (it is near many other downtown sites). We enjoyed the view of the harbor, watched the people, and wandered among the tents of souvenirs (some cheap, some really nice), hot food, and fresh local produce.

People, don't confuse your squares! I was here today. There were about 10 stalls in the square. Two were selling fish, 5 fruit and or veg, a couple had flowers and plants and there was a couple of open air cafes. I can see what's going on here from the photos. People are rating this square as a five because... More

The market square is a farmers market/craft show. Everything for sale here is absolutely amazing. This is a good place wander around and just see what all the vendors are selling. You may be surprised what you might find.

The markets are fabulous and just a great atmosphere. Lovely just to wander and see all the handicrafts and try some traditional foods.
