This is a fun place to spend an evening at. You can easily spend 2-3 hours over here. There are 3 floors, all featuring different exhibitions. Some of the artwork makes you think, some of it is really funny and some of it is informative. Me and my husband had a lot of fun over here, taking weird pictures, reading... More

I have visited Kiasma few times during the years and never been disappointed. This time the exhibition by Jani Leinonen was brilliant and highly recommended, unfortunately it ends at the end of Jan. But even the building and architecture is worth seeing.

Spent a few hours here on a particular snowy and blustery day! Suited our respite needs. We were pleasantly surprised by it. Yes it's sparse but then newer art museums are taking this approach to focus the attention to exhibits and create a space for reflection and thought. I see how some feel 'cheated' as they want more bang for... More

The visit was worth it, the maririmeko exhibits, fashion (clothes) through the ages, Fiskars and Nokia - all Finnish contributions to the world are on display

This was really worth the time spent. It's an eye opener - makes you think about things you wouldn't normally and see things from different perspectives. Sometimes disturbing. The building itself is a work of art. It has five floors. All but one had exhibitions today.

Surprisingly good exhibitions. Markus Heikkerö's art, Face to Face exhibition of portraits and Jani Leinonen exhibition were all very interesting. I did not expect so much of these exhibitions but the visit was surprisingly good. Kiasma is recently renovated and it is always nice to see the building itself created by Steven Holl.

Ugly building and terrible art...if you can call it art. A painting with a dot in it...my kids could do better in their sleep. Sometimes I really wonder how people can call this art, it is as if the artists have any impact at all.

We didn't have as much time as we'd like for spending here, but the time we did have was really enjoyable. The building is beautiful outside and inside and the exhibits that we saw were fantastic. We had a quick stop in the cafe before we left which was very good and the cakes were delicious!

Contrary to the KUMA in Tallinn, the exhibitions inside this contemporary art institution live up to the architectural quality of the building. Check it on the net before coming to make sure you like what's on. Definitely good for for thought.
