Had a good time, both old and youg!

The grownups enjoyed the Futuro house and the other shows. The kids had lots of fun in the toy museum. The cafe had a basic selection, something for everyone. Worth a visit!

We had a birthday party last week, and all adults and children enjoyed the 2hours tremendously. We had the Circus tour, where the the fabulous guide, Annikka tells about the history of the different toys thoughout the years, and also the kids get to participate in a small "circus" where they can be the acrobat, magician, or strongman! Emma Museum of Modern Arts is excellent place to visit! There are many different art exhibitions and also an excibition of the history of clocks. Visit also museums's store where you can find handicrafts from all over the world. Take your time touring around the exhibitions. There is lots to see! Definitely worth to visit!

The museum is very interesting with exhibitions of different themes. There are exhibitions of modern arts, but also entertaining workshops for children. I was interested in the collection of Finnish artists Tapio Wirkkala and Ruth Bryk.

We visited again this summer after a few years and were very pleasantly surprised. We found especially the Espoo history part very interesting, because we´ve lived here a long time. The modern art upstairs was also very good. If you are 70 years of older you go free!

Alot to see, the shows are spacious, easy to access and a nice cafe with brunch, salads, wines even. We went accidentally on a day when there was no entrance fee, which was nice. Not crowded so easy to walk around.

There are some pieces of the old Espoo's history. But the main attractions are the changing exhibitions. So check beforehand on the website, whether there is something that interests you. The building is an old printing house and all the surfaces are pure concrete without any cover.

Emma is a museum of modern art that often takes you by suprise. Very modern the way that almost everything is accepted from serious art to playful experimental works.
