Great water park in summer

we went in the winter, so I can only say about the inside pools. the pools and the showers were outdated, in need of renovation and dirty. the food was expensive and not tasty at all. slow service at the ticket counter. good thing is the offer for joint ticket with the serena ski center, but that's about it.

I visited this place 20 year ago at the first time. At that time everything was unfinished and unsafe. I thought that they had enough time to put everything in order, but now we visited this place again and it was awful. They have not done anything and everything was broken. Outside area was closed because of the winter time,... More

Intresting for couple of hours visit, once. Anyhow, it's the biggest in Helsinki area, works better during summer time, when outdoor pools available.

It is a nice place as attraction and I can highly recommend it to everybody also with small children. BUT: Be aware that it takes at least 40 minutes to get a food (simple hot dog) even from outside kiosk and there is no any shadow while you are standing in a queue. When we were there a bottled water... More

Scandinavian's biggest water park. Nice inside and outside area. Very popular among Russian tourists. Inside area is always warm but you may feel cold outside (outside area open only in the summer.). However the place surely needs renovation. The place is far from Helsinki but there are good public transport connections. You may take bus from Helsinki center to Serena... More

During the summer, the water park appears to be best when the outdoor pools are open and you may want to try mountain cross cars. In winter, Serena operates the ski center. The slopes are just a few and the place is popular with snowboarders. Serena is well served by public transport, as well as a lot of parking space.... More
