This was a great experience. I was there at 10:00am right on opening and there was a bit of a queue - so in December (closer to Christmas) I'd be aware of that. The elves were very friendly though and Santa was charming. We had a good chat about me being from Australia! The photos are able to be purchased... More

Probably the most elaborate visit to Santa in Rovaniemi that we saw - you get a video and photos with Santa and the premises are quite large - the co-location of an ittala and Marimekko stores detracts from the "magic" somewhat. Probably the best value for what you get but the AV/photo packages are by no means cheap. Worth a... More

We met Santa...but we were one of millions...and he made the effort to make it personal, but when someone pushes you to move forward take a photo and buy a picture....for 30euros(printed) electronic version 40euros....it does seem a little too commercial. Although my daughter 5 years old was thinking he special, as he spoke her language(Japanese) I am not sure... More

I had assume it's mostly a best place for kids - whlie now I'd say I'm wrong. Besides the Santa claus related topics, In winter it's really lovely with lot of more activities around (safari, museum, and more exciting for me - the snowman world - I loved the snow slide to death - I played there in total 3... The decoration is nice and somewhat gives a good christmas feel. Other then the decoration, there is nothing else. Not allowed to take pictures inside, a pro will take the picture for you. Price of photo, not many will be willing to pay.

I must say a lot of shops, freezing -27,5c next day -8c. The overal view is nice for young kids to see santa very invigorating and full joy. It takes a while in line but is worth it. Normally pricy photo but exelent quality. A lot of activities but everywhere a bunch euro goes. Cleanliness should be better. Snowmibiles for... More

Waiting in the queue to see Santa we missed the train, Elfs school and other attractions as a lot of coaches arrived together it was mayhem. Grandchildren would have been really disappointed if we missed Santa. They were overjoyed to see him lovely family photo taken I think €27 is a bit expensive but it is a lovely memento
