“Closed most of the year!”

We visited the area in February and one day followed a hiking trail to the Forestry Museum. Unfortunately, when we got there, the signs showed it was open only from June to August. We carried on and had a longer hike instead, but it was disappointing, and seems strange to be closed during the busy tourist season. More

“visit this if you have boys”

If you have kids go to the forestry building and let them loose in the exhibition area there, very interactive with cranes, logs, games, and lots of educational materials as well as extremely helpful and friendly assistants. We had to drag our kids away. More
